I've been using a performance workshop on the other side of town for years because I've been disappointed with dealership service. I needed a water pump repair at short notice and was lucky enough to find Dickson Automotive six months ago. I was so pleased with the repair and price that I had my 160 k service done there last week. Same story, a great job at a reasonable price. Such a refreshing change to be treated with respect by a business servicing my car. A great service. They checked out what needed doing, discussed it with me and then did what needed doing at a fair price. There was no trying to scare me into something I didn't need like others do.

Even when needing to replace a tail light, they found me one, kept me up to date on what was going on and were fast and efficient at replacing it. I felt very well looked after.

John was the 5th Mechanic to take my car and the one to find the problem with it! Even though they were so busy after the new year break he took my car in as I was so desperate to get it fixed for work. They are honest and fair in price. Moving from a dealer service, this is the third service with Dickson Auto for our 2010 mini - car runs superbly and wouldn't take it anywhere else! John and Clive are absolutely brilliant - always do their best to help you out - tell you exactly what needs doing and unlike others, only tell you to replace parts that NEED replacing!
