This is a fabric boutique which offers tailoring services alongside.
They stock high end fabrics only - mostly silk, virgin wool/cashmere, cotton/linen, French lace and in a range of weaves, plain or printed.
Prices per meter start from $60.
Fabrics are sourced from international fashion houses(Gucci, Cerruti, Jil Sander etc)
They are very sumptuous and luxurious. It is worth the money spent, if you are purchasing fabric for a special occasion.
If you do not have a preferred tailor or do not sew personally, D'Italia also has a tailoring service.
Essentially, they will work with you on design, take your measurements, do instore fittings and deliver the final product.
There is no limit to what they will do; shirts, cocktail dresses, formal (black tie) gowns etc.
I have not used their tailoring service before, so I cannot comment further.

Quality fabrics, but very expensive. I bought fabric here for Bridesmaid dress, other chain store fabric looked cheap. Nice place to "splash out" for a special occasion.

I visited d'Italia as part of a scouting mission while seeking to have some dresses made for a wedding I'm going to. The staff were very helpful, and the fabric is gorgeous - most of it is Italian, and from big fashion houses like Armani, Escada, Jil Sander and the like. It is expensive (I didn't see any fabric under the $50/m mark), but probably worth it for a special occasion.

Tailoring prices start at $400-$600 for a simple cocktail dress, to $700 to $900 for a more involved designer creation. If you want to use their tailoring service, you must buy fabric from them.
