Same thing happened to me audrey-a, a couple of days ago. However, I have purchased a $239 shirt online, and I have received it in a very poor condition (dirty all creased, and not creased from the normal folding, but overall creased, looking exactly how clothes look like after washing without ironing, only that my silk shirt was dirty as well around collar and hand cuffs). They do not state a clear policy online not mentioning anything about not offering refunds. Nevertheless, the non-refund policy would breach the Consumer Guarantee of Acceptable Qualities Law. They have misled the communication over the email by asking me to come over to the physical shop as they have received stock and I may find something that I like, and since I didn't, they hit me with the non -refund policy. Not on only that the sales person was hopeless and she kept repeating that I can't obtain refund instead of trying to appease the conflict, but mentioned that [redacted personal identifier] is in Israel overseas [redacted name] and there is no one with authority to make a call. I have made the purchase via PayPal and now opened a case, demanding a refund based on unacceptable quality of goods. I will also lodge a complaint with Victorian Consumer Affairs. I am really taken aback by this experience particularly since this business claims to be Melbourne's iconic fashion label?? I'm a regular online shopper and have not dealt with this unprofessionalism in the last 10 years to say the least.

Approximate cost: $239

I purchased a Wonder bag from Dizingof Flinders Lane on 5th of April 2016, after returning home with the bag I discovered a manufacturing fault. I contacted Dizingof the next morning (within 24 hours of the purchase). Dizingof refused to refund the bag. Their attention to this issue and attitude was poor, they are very friendly in selling however were rude, aggressive and disinterested in customer service. I took advice from Victorian Consumer Affairs on the 6th of April. Consumer Affairs advised that Dizingof not refunding the faulty product is a breach of the Consumer Guarantee of Acceptable Qualities Law. Further advice was to submit a claim application to VCAT. I am now following the process suggested by Consumer Affairs through VCAT to return the faulty product & obtain a refund. This retailer has not met my customer service expectations and have failed to comply with the guarantee requirements under consumer law. I would recommend not risking buying products from this retailer.
