Great, satisfactory local play centre. Have been here many times over the past 7 years. Staff can be hit and miss at times with their attitude but overall do try to do their best. Similarly, the level of cleanliness and hygiene is variable but as it is not a brand new play centre, some wear and tear and stains are to be expected.

Very nice place. But not reliable with their opening ours and rarely respond telephones, in order to enquire before hand if they are open or not.

Very satisfied with the centre, enjoyable parties, friendly staff, and good food.

My kids love it. Reason that we had celebrated the birthdays for 3 consecutives years. My son asked to hire this place for his parties!!

We held our daughters 3rd birthday there in feb and I have to say I was highly impressed with the service, value for money and general venue.

They were extremely accomodating from the moment we arrived (I had an ice cream cake). The food was plentiful and kept coming, unlike most other playcentres where you only get served the once. They also provide additional entertainment for the kids such as fantastic face painting at no extra cost.

Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They went out of the way to make sure we had everything we needed.

After reading many negative reviews i was vwry hesitant to trust this venue for my sons 1st birthday... i went in to "check it out" and was confident that improvements were made from the initial reviews... so i booked them in.

Last night (17th oct 2015) was the party. We hired out the venue. I moved tables and chairs. Hung things on the wall. Set up our food and drinks the way i wanted... and all i got from them was yes you can and do you need help. So far so good!

Then came to the finger food. It was served mouth burning hot and it kept coming. I asked for a couple more plates of food and again they just kept coming.

For the price we paid we got an awesome deal and great value for money. There are some centres charging ridiculous prices for only 2 hours. So great in that aspect too!

The 2 staff members were friends, attentative and happily did wverything asked of them.

Laser tag was a massive hit with the kids... didnt think the adults would enjoy it but i guess they are kids at heart too coz they were hard to get out of the room.

All in all it was a great venue for a great price and everyone had a great time.

Im glad i gave them a shot!

Thanks roger for all the great work

We have been coming here to Dizzys Castle for the past 6 years. We were very happy with all aspects of the venue. BUT...the last 12 months we have only been twice and never to return again! It has become filthy! The high chairs we're all sitting near the toilets in a dust dirt and dried up sauce. The play equipment is black and full of dust. I doubt it ever gets cleaned. When we arrived at 10:30am on a sunday morning, the venue stunk. The 2 big slides are all buckled and my son refused to go on it! And mind you the slide is the high light of the visit which is usually the main attraction. I even heard another parent complain of how buckled the slide is! Service is SLOW! One of the staff members couldnt even wipe the table down properly. She wiped it and walked away with a smear of tomato sauce on the table. We ordered fish n chips for my son and received one thin stick of fish with chips. $7:50!!! Other play centres such as Crocs give u a decent serving of at least 3 pieces and cheaper. Overall..I couldnt wait to leave and will never return. My mum even said the place has been neglected.

Approximate cost: $10 entry

We went along to this play centre for our friend's child's birthday party today. From when we walked in, there was a foul smell in the play area ... very concerning to say the least.

The play area was very busy with many children having parties today and kids running around everywhere.

There is a toddler area too where my little one had a play but very concerned that the safety gate would not close very well.

There are enclosed trampolines, slides, climbing equipment and more.

The birthday child had a private room where it was glow in the dark and kids can play mini golf. Thankfully the foul smell was not there.

We were served platters of food to share, kids had chicken nuggets, hot chips, fairy bread and cordial and water. However I believe you can order various types of platters to suit your budget and tastes.

us adults had sandwiches, dips and bread, hot savouries, eg pies etc.

Food was passable, certainly not gourmet to say the least ... sorry I do not mean to sound like a snob!!

Service by staff was okay, they did not make a good enough impression on me.

the bathrooms were lacking somewhat to attention, eg toilet paper needing topping up.

I certainly will not be hurrying back to take my child to this play centre, unless i am obliged too, eg we are invited for a party!

Hi MazB35, just wondering what the â??foulâ?? smell was? Did it smell chemical, musty or dirty? By the way, there is nothing wrong with â??sounding like a food snob.â?? After all, the more society digresses from â??realâ?? food, the more allergies, intolerance, behaviour issues and lowered immunity we will see. I say, food snobs unite! Regards, Reeces

Been a regular visitor and recently have noticed quite a few changes in their pricing and the food variety. There been much more options in the cafe food compare to any other play centre in the area. Looks like the management has changed and the place looks cleaner then it was previously and the equipment's have been serviced.
We had a party in there glow in dark golf area and it was awesome fun with the complete area dedicated to your guest for duration of the party.
The only thing we could have appreciated is to keep the centre open for longer duration, especially on Sundays as they close early at 4PM
They started offering free Wifi which is a bonus

Approximate cost: $5

We used to take our kids here at least once a week but stopped recently due to a few unfortunate factors.

The overall cleanliness seems to be declining and the equipment maintenance is being neglected. There is a great selection of activities for all ages but the state of the place is becoming a concern.

What was fantastic customer service and food/coffee quality has become extreemly hit and miss depending on what staff are working, and in peak times they are clearly stressed and understaffed.

Parking here is very tight and the door dings were a constant frustration.

It's a shame as this place could be fantastic given the right management, and the good staff members are let down by the conditions around them. We will give it 12 months then see if anything has improved.

Approximate cost: $5

Hi JonesyAU, it is deeply concerning that many similar places fail when it comes to cleanliness and general maintenance issues, thus posing a potential (and unacceptable) risk. We used to frequent a local indoor playground, but found that one of our children became acutely ill after each visit. Thanks for the heads-up! Reeces

Went there today and will never return. It is run down with no care to maintenance or cleanliness or safety. All 4 trampoline safety net doors were broken and kids could fall out. The toddler section child gate was constantly left open and did not spring close to keep the kids in.. the staff just walked by ignoring the open door. The baby change room light was broken, so the nappy change had to be done in semi darkness. Some video game consoles were not working. Left over food was not cleared from tables for over an hour. Staff were unfriendly. Play area matting was very dirty, not cleaned in a long time, I used a nappy wipe where my son dribbled and it came up black. Dining tables were against the toddler area fence, which meant toddlers could reach through and grab stuff potentially dangerous, ie a hot coffee. Bits of the castle wall outside at the front entrance had fallen off, unrepaired.. Says it all.

Hi CKreview, thanks for the detail and candor expressed in your review. Given the safety risks that you have mentioned, we would recommend that you lodge a ‘formal’ complaint with the business in question and the relevant authorities. After all, your actions may prevent a serious accident/injury to an unsuspecting child. Thanks for a warning that is clearly in the public’s best interest. Regards, Reeces
