This is a fantastic play centre!

The management staffs the venue with mature employees who are extremely friendly and helpful!

The price is a little higher than most but when you factor in the adult entry cost on top of the kids, but you do get a free coffee with entry (and it's not bad either).

The food is pretty good and always arrives in reasonable time, even when they are busy

Tables, equipment and floors are always kept clean. They can't be faulted in the regard.

There is a certain "crowd" that seems to go there that think it's ok to sit in their little group and natter away not even looking at what their children are doing, these are clearly the parents of the ADHD kids and use the place to escape their children instead of supervise. This of course is not the fault of the establishment and I certainly won't detract stars for it, but it has been a slight frustration on almost every visit and worth noting.

If tumbles is too busy I will always go here as my backup.

Visited this play centre for the first time today, found it had both good and bad points.

The food was ok, chips were quite nice but they sell those awful nuggets that look and taste like they are made from fatty scraps. I ate one but the kids wouldn't touch them.

The first coffee was not bad, but the following 2 were pretty sad.

I found the toddler area to be very clean, but the rest of the centre was a bit lacking. The carpets clearly don't get done on a daily basis and the sponge/netting on the play structures really needs to be replaced/fixed. There were even a couple of those terrible nuggets on top of the netting.

The main two reasons we gave it a go was they offer free wifi and have xbox consoles for the kids to play. Neither of these were working.

Even noticed that they couldn't be bothered replacing the batteries in their clocks.

The managers need to understand that when you employ teenagers and leave them to work alone, you get the work ethic of a teenager who has been left alone.

Really not keen on going back.

I have had take away coffee from the Coffee Pot several times and always found it to be a reasonable brew.

We ate once and found the food/service to be acceptable, but definately nothing out of the ordinary. The back veranda is a nice place to sit on a sunny day.

I would eat there again if other favourite spots were too busy, but would probably not go out of my way.

I cant speak highly enough about the Collingwood Childrens Farm!

We took our boys there today and they had an absolute ball! This is a proper working farm, but the restrictions you might expect dont apply! The little ones can go into the paddocks and freely interact with the animals, who are very socialised and even affectionate!

This is a great place to let your little ones have their first experiences with farm animals. They can hold or pet animals including Guinea Pigs, Chickens, Geese, Horses, Goats, Sheep, Cows and Donkeys!

Entry is only $16 for a family and the cafe is reasonably priced, but you can take your own food too if you like.

Great day out!

This review is for Raffael's Bar & Grill Cafe, Werribee VIC

After hearing all good things about Raffaels coffee and meaning to give it a go for some time, we finally decided on brunch last week.

Upon arrival we were told by an obviously overwhelmed staff member that due to a private function we could only be seated outside, which was no problem as we intended to sit out there anyway.

We were seated and ordered a coffee and a coke while we reviewed the menu. 10 minutes later the baffled waitress returned to take our orders, no problem.

30 minutes passed and the meals finally arrived, not a huge deal as they were clearly busy inside and the food looked great. But, still no drinks.

10 minutes on we managed to flag down the waitress and asked how the drinks were going, she said she would see what the problem was.

15 minutes further she appeared with what turned out to be a hot chocolate and a diet coke. We reminded her that our order was a coffee and a coke, she appologised and walked away leaving the wrong drinks on the table.

At this point we didn't know if the appology meant she was going to rectify the problem or if she was sorry that we would just have to deal with what we got.

20 minutes later our meals were finished and she had not been spotted again, the two wrong drinks still sitting on our table.

We walked inside, had our bill modified and settled up. Probably would not bother again, Werrbee is not short on cafe's.

Still dont know what the coffee is like...

After my GP retired I tried this centre as they bulk bill, it has now been over two years and I dont go anywhere else. They accept bookings and walk-in visits too. I have one main doctor that I like to see there, but if he is on a day off I would not hesitate to see one of the others there, they have all treated my kids, my partner and myself very well.

In my experience with this business they are very much a "no-frils"/wholesale/trade type venture aimed more towards IT tech's and the tech savvy. The shop is small and packed like a mini warehouse. They have pretty much everything you could ever need and if you have the knowledge to ask for your required part by name and provide specs you will be in and out in under 5 minutes with what you need at a very reasonable price. I reccomend that the non-savvy go to a chain like JB HI-FI if you need to have a lengthy discussion as to your requirements, this type store was not intended for you.

This must be one of the worst McDonalds in Victoria. Every time we have been there we either drive away with something missing, something we didn't order or burgers that have had their ingredients dropped into a box and shaken around, they should start putting stickers on the box like "some assembly required".

I would regularly order 5 double cheese burgers with bacon, as well all like them, but get home and find the two burgers on the bottom of the bag were standard cheese burgers that they had hidden down there to get me out of drive through instead of just "making" the extra two. Aside from the considerable price difference it's cheeky and very bad customer service.

But, what can you expect from a chain that hires teenagers who don't care if they keep their job or not? Centrelink is only a phone call away for most of them.

Drive to hoppers, it's normally a little better.

As an ex-member of this venue (due to lacking customer service) I returned today to see how the "new and improved" gym stacked up. Unfortunately it was far from impressive.

The gym is suited mainly to cardio style workouts and will not suit anyone looking for heavy/varied resistance training.

The pools are now closed and the parking is even more limited than before.

Their weekly direct debit membership price is on par with most of the other local gyms, but they are not open 24/7 like the others.

All in all it's not worth the time of day until the pools are finished, which they say will be at least another 18 months. Even then they will probably be still pretty restrictive due to the high prices.

If you are fussy about your coffee this is an essential destination. I am rare to offer high praise on coffee in Melbourne, but the coffee here is honestly the best I have had in Victoria, consistently!

The staff are professional, welcoming and friendly to adults and children alike. The special children's seating/table area is a real standout that reinforces the family friendly attitude.

The food prices are reasonable for the location, and the coffee prices are great considering the quality.

I drive there from Werribee at least twice a week just for a take away coffee without a second thought, I can't recommend them highly enough!

Approximate cost: $14-20
