Fabulous service - Ken and the team were incredibly supportive and flexible walking my dogs when I was injured and take such good care of them - my babies love going for walks with them.

So these guys leave dogs in the van for over 30mins while they walk other dogs...

I saw a DC van in my street and noted that the walker had passed me a few blocks back with a bunch of dogs - heading in the other direction. That's all no problem except there was at least 3 large dogs still in the van. it was 23 degrees in Melbourne and very humid. Yes, the windows were open, but so what? RSPCA and other guidelines are very clear that having windows open and water in the car does NOT reduce the risk to dogs who are left in cars. I rang DC and expressed my concerns and got glib responses about it being 'not harmful' to dogs and them having had 'no complaints' about such practices which they tell me are actually routine policy (ie leaving some dogs in the van while the single worker walks others). When I pointed out that hiring another worker so the dogs could be supervised in a park or walked with the others, I got no response to that. I wonder if users of this service know of this practice and policy? The phone call ended with confirmation from the owner that DC had no problem with the practice and would be continuing with it - just great guys.
