Donnellan Constructions

We recently built a two story townhouse in bayside with Donnnellan constructions.
With the value of hindsight there is no way I would use or recommend this builder.
As of today, there are still numerous building issues still outstanding even though we have paid the contract in full over 6 months ago. We are in the process of getting quotes from other trades to complete these issues, which has been extremely stressful and disappointing.

We recently finished construction of 2 town houses in Carnegie. As newcomers to this experience we were somewhat apprehensive, but Heath and his team were very supportive and their competence and constant consultation took away much of our fears. The project was finished on time and to budget. In fact, Heath was able to reduce costs in some areas and gave us the opportunity to do our own research and seek cheaper options without compromising quality, We would certainly recommend Donnellan Constructions.

We just completed a major reno in McKinnon. Heath did a supurb job. He was reliable, insisted on high quality work and offered creative and cost saving solutions. He and his team were respectful of our house, skilled and professional to deal with...and they finished on time! We can highly recommend them.

If you are thinking of building or renovating, I would strongly recommend talking with Heath and his team. We recently completed a large home extension and lived in throughout. Everyone warned us that this would be extremely stressful, but Heath and his team organised the building around our needs, which meant we were inconvenienced as little as possible. All the trades were highly professional and meticulous, and they were highly responsive to our queries and concerns.

Renovating means that that there are always lots of choices to be made, but Health always provided solid advice about the best ways to proceed, while his online system meant that we could keep track of any decisions to be made and the associated costs, as well as ask any relevant questions.

Heath was committed to ensuring we were happy with the quality of the work throughout, and we had regular meetings with him and the relevant trades. While there are always costly decisions to be made, Heath gave us great advice about where to save money and get the best results.

The final renovation has far exceeded our expectations, and we are absolutely delighted with Heath's team's workmanship and quality. I would thoroughly recommend Heath and his team, and would have no hesitation in contacting him again for any future work.

Heath and his team virtually re-built our entire house and did so on time, on budget and bought a 'can-do' attitude that made the entire process a lot easier. Not only are we extremely happy with the end product and workmanship, we appreciated the constant communication and thought that went into every detail.

The experienced team gave us several suggestions along the way to ensure we did not end up wishing we'd done things differently.

Wherever possible Heath gave us alternatives that provided real cost savings. We were pleased and appreciative that some additional works were completed without charge to ensure the best possible result.

Post building, Heath ensured all defects were fixed to our complete satisfaction. Any concerns or issues were promptly addressed.

Overall really happy with the work from Heath and his team. The guys were really conscious and respectful of my wife and 16 month old. Communication was fantastic, through all forms, online website, SMS, emails and phone calls. He stuck to his deadlines stated from the outset. The guys where clean and well spoken. The quality of work was also excellent. I am looking at the next project and will certainly look at Heath as the main builder.

People always say how renovating is always a horrid job and that everyone falls out with their builder - but I have to say this was not at all the case for us. We had a fantatsic experience on our build and I owe a lot of that to the team at Donnellan. The quality of the build and the end result surpassed our expectations.

Donnellan Constructions undertook a major renovation of our home. One of our our biggest criterias for engaging the builder was whether we considered would we get along with the each other especially when issues arose, as we knew that with such an extensive renovation there would be issues during construction. We felt comfortable with Heath from the first interview with him. Issues did arise on site and were dealt with very proffesionally and we never felt a loss of trust between us. Constructing homes for people is not an easy task not just the technical building aspect but forming working relationships with your client. Heath and his team did both very well and we would happily recommend Donnellan Constructions to any of our friends. Special thanks to Jake, our foreman, who we believe took a personal interest in achieving the right result.

We have just finished construction for two townhouses in Armadale. We are very happy with the workmanship and all other service. There are no major problems, only a few little minor issues. However they always come back to fix up the problems immediately for which we appreciate very much. They have been very reliable. We give them 5 stars for their service.

What fantastic job. Health was always reliable, supportive, he offered ideas, solutions and made the renovation process an easy one. Again Heath, to the ladies in the office, to the guys out on site; they were so nice and friendly to deal with. They all took the time to explain things, if I needed it. We are so happy with our house, love the comments we receive from friends and family, and would not hesitate to recommend them

Initially we thought twice as they were at the top of the quotes but after discussion they saved us heaps after we agreed to have some plans changed to avoid using massive amounts of concrete.

I recently completed a renovation project with Donnellan Constructions. Being a single female, such a project is a daunting prospect. Upon reflection, I do consider myself to be very fortunate to have had Donnellan Constructions as my builder. In my dealings with them, I found them to be patient, supportive, competent, honest and friendly. As a woman, I was never made to feel inferior. In fact, I had a sense that the fellows on-site went out of their way to make sure I got the best outcome. The foreman I had, Marc, was a perfectionist and I am grateful to him for his great care he took whilst managing my build. Donnellan Constructions, from their Director Heath, to the ladies in the office, to the guys out on site; are an easy and friendly company to deal with.
