My friend and I visited Dove and Olive for a couple of drinks and some food on New Years Eve before heading to a party. It was very quiet so we had no problem finding a table even though it was Happy Hour, which was fantastic value for $4 house wines, beers, spirits, etc. Their menu looked really delicious with lots of classic pub feed options, burgers, salads and nachos! I chose the chicken schnitzel (300g) which was $15 and came with slaw, chips, and choice of sauce (I chose mushroom). It was really delicious and filling! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a great pub feed with cheap drinks in Surry Hills.

Went here on Tuesday night for a trivia night with work colleagues. All the tables were full and everyone had a great night. Mains are roughly $15-25 and there's a fantastic selection of beers. If you're going to trivia, ensure you make a booking.

Thursday night drinks with a couple of work associates. The place was packed despite it only being 6pm, however we managed to find a table in a corner that we shared some others. Great selection of beers on tap and there is good value if you buy jugs. Very tasty pub-style food - we ordered the chicken burger and pulled pork rolls and they were great. Free food tasting between 6-7pm as well which was a nice surprise. Friendly staff and efficient service.

New face for an old place. Renovations have proved that the atmosphere has changed, the menu and cook have uped the anti and the environment is modern and streamlined. Had a charity night in one of the rooms, had the house pizza which was not heavy going and drinks and waiting services did a good job. There was a lot more to be explored so I and friends will go back mainly for the menu and the atmosphere and the quick safe exit to central station after work on Friday night
