move to the other ob because she doesn’t work on weekends, as the information book she gave us. But she didn’t release the medical report to the current one.

After I gave birth at the end of July which was Pre matured birth, I email her and her midwife Lisa to send me the vitamin D report to see if the level is below 50 so I can give the baby vitamin D dose, but till now 5 days later I haven’t received any report or email from her.

My experience with her was not very good at all. Won’t recommend her to my friends or colleagues

This is historical but you should know that Cate Duncan carried out a CVS on my first pregnancy 27 years ago. She herself was very pregnant at the time, nor (I discovered later) is it standard for the obstetrician as opposed to the radiologist to do this... the procedure was clearly done badly, I started bleeding straight after and my baby died. She never even rang me ..., as I was 40 I was very very lucky and took a long time to Achieve another viable pregnancy. She has been in the media for other issues too.

Kate delivered all 3 of my children & I would recommend her (and have) to everyone. Our 3rd child was a high risk child with his organs on the outside. She contacted specialists, arranged appointments and transfers for both myself and baby. She visited and called every day we were in hospital. If it weren't for her and her team of experts that she knew in the field, I doubt our son would have had the treatment that he did that saved his life. He is now 2. I never felt alone during this terrible time we felt that we were going to lose him.
She does however, say it like it is, which in my experience, is what you need from a specialist doctor. If she appears to be sharp and abrupt, it is only because she wants the utmost care and complete perfection for her customers.

Best OB. She has delivered both my son & daughter. Kate & her team also supported my husband & I when we sadly lost our twins late in our pregnancy.
If my husband & I decided to go back & have another baby we will not hesitate to use Kate. She is fantastic & is up to date with the latest information.

Kate (and Lisa) were fantastic during my pregnancy checkups. During birth Kate was amazing, she was professional and took control of the situation while making me feel at ease (I was fairly scared of childbirth!)

Exceptionally competent and caring! Supported us through multiple pregnancy complications, the delivery and the aftercare for bub and I. Would highly recommend Kate and her supportive team.

Cate delivered both of my children. One of them was a complicated delivery which could have been a disaster if it had not been for Cate. Amazing person and dr.

Unfortunately our experience with Cate Duncan was unfavourable. We saw her for an appointment a few days before our baby was born & she failed to mention that she would be away for the weekend. Our son was born on a Sunday (3 days overdue) & we were informed by the midwives that Cate was interstate. Whilst we completely understand that doctors cannot work every day, it was disappointing that Cate did not let us know she would be away & who the replacement doctor would be. We were also extremely disappointed in the aftercare provided by Cate. Our baby had a medical issue which was quite distressing for my wife & I. Cate brushed off this issue & gave us the impression that her duty of care finished at the time our baby was born. She showed no compassion & provided no assistance during a difficult time for us. Whilst Cate was highly recommended to us, our experience was extremely negative & we would not recommend her as an obstetrician.

Would highly recommend Kate. Kate was matter of fact, warm, thorough and had excellent communication skills putting my wife and I at ease. We didn't feel rushed and had time to ask the questions we needed to feel comfortable. Will be using her again!

Dr Cate Duncan is a terrific specialist in her field, I was recommend to have her to deliver my child. I also specifically wanted to have a Dr who worked at Waverley Private, in Mount Waverley. Dr Duncan is a lovely doctor who really cares about her patients. She is a really busy, and she only ran late for one appointment, due to another person having their baby early.
