I picked Dr Vicki Nott based on recommendations and because I wanted a doctor who would listen to my needs and wants as a first time mother. Throughout my entire pregnancy I felt like Vicki only wanted the best for bub and myself and she never hesitated to tell me the truth.
It was really nice to get an informative and experienced opinion on all matters outside of all the social media and family opinions.
Our Bub was delivered safely and healthy via elective c-section and I recovered in no time due to Dr Vicki Nott’s guidelines.

If you are looking for the best obstetrician in Melbourne, don’t bother looking elsewhere. Vicki has the most caring, positive and down to earth attitude. She is highly professional yet makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. I knew from the very first time I met Vicki that my baby and myself were going to be provided with the best care. So far I have not been wrong. I cannot express my gratitude and admiration towards Vickis professionalism. Her approach to anything is always positive no matter what is going on. Her lovely little administration team are absolutely amazing to deal with always - so thank you Alba also.

I can’t explain enough in words about Dr. Vicki Nott’s knowledge, kindness and willingness to really help her patients. I had 6 miss carriages and now again I’m pregnant, but it’s a really complicated one. She always gave me strong positive vibe. She did lots of things out of her duty and responsibility just to ensure best possible treatment for me. She doesn’t count her patients as a number, neither here just for doing business. She is more like really helping people who needs it most. To me she is an angle, the true meaning of a Doctor. Wish her all the success in her carrier. I strongly recommend her to all the ladies who are struggling with pregnancy.

I highly recommend Dr Vicki Nott, she's very knowledgeable and pragmatic. During my pregnancy I felt very informed and provided with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. The birth was a wonderful experience, Vicki's approach provided comfort and a relaxed environment. She was also very thorough after the birth, following up and checking-in to make sure we were doing well.

I felt very comfortable with Vicki and would highly recommend her. Although I was close to not having her attend my birth as she was leaving for the weekend when she got the call I was in labour from the hospital.

I guess you need to feel comfortable with her fill ins too because there is a chance she may not be available. I did meet a couple of them and they were lovely too.

The only people I felt uncomfortable with were the narky reception staff. My experiences with them are too long to explain in detail. They do not actually listen to you, they make assumptions about what you are going to say and ask and answer what they assume you are asking them - this happened a lot. Some very snappy responses at times too - maybe they get sick of people asking the same questions over and over - maybe it’s time for them to move on, or at the very least do some active listening and customer service training.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Dr Vicki Nott. Vicki delivered my first daughter in October and made me and my husband feel so comfortable and at ease throughout the entire pregnancy and birth. Her down to earth nature and medical expertise really made me comfortable and I knew I was in the safest hands. Right at the end of my pregnancy I had some small complications and I felt completely at ease knowing I was in her care. Vicki was able to be there throughout the entire induction process and delivered my precious bundle which meant the world to me. I am so so glad we found Dr Nott.

Vicki is the doctor I had every trust in managing my pregnancies, she was who we felt comfort with on our journey for a family. Vicki was exceptional in all areas, with our straight forward first baby she was the voice of experience and comfort to my first time mummy concerns. When we had tragedy at its worst with our next pregnancy she was there, tests, specialists, comfort & empathy. Our third, heading back to Vicki I new I was in safe hands. She greets you with a lovely big smile, is down to earth (yes she's a mum too!) and above all a brilliant Obstetrician. We have two beautiful boys thanks to Vicki.

I have had three babies with Vicki and every time I have been confident that I am in excellent, expert hands. Vicki is always calm and nothing seems to stress or worry her so you always feel quite relaxed about everything. She is also very personable and friendly. I completely trust vicki's opinion and she has been fantastic (and present) during all three births. I highly recommend her.

I would recommend Vicki Nott as either a Gynaecologist or an Obstetrician. She is absolutely fantastic. She takes into account your personal circumstances and is a very caring professional. I have been seeing Vicki for the past 13 years and will continue to do so in the years to come. I can't thank Vicki enough for the reassurance and support she has given me.

I'm so glad we chose Dr Nott as our obstetrician for the recent birth of our first baby - she was just so great throughout the pregnancy and birth. I always felt so very comfortable talking to her at every appointment - she was always calm, friendly and reassuring. I came away from every appointment feeling relaxed and supported. She was very supportive of my choices for the delivery and that really did make the world of difference. I knew I was in very safe hands. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience, and would definitely visit Vicki again should we have another child.

Vicki is fantastic! I cannot rate how good she is. She's very personable, honest and is extremely thorough. Having a baby for the first time can be daunting, but she makes you feel so relaxed and comfortable. She allows you to make informed decisions about how to go with the birth and never makes you feel silly for asking silly questions! I will be definitely going back to her should I have another child!

I am so incredibly happy that I chose Vicki Nott as my obstetrician. Throughout my pregnancy she appeased all my fears and gave me confidence that everything would run smoothly. This is because Vicki is a top class professional who possesses vast amounts of experience coupled with an approachable, sympathetic and practical nature. Put simply, Vicki is great and I couldn't recommend her highly enough. Vicki delivered our little girl in August 2012 and also supported us through a miscarriage in 2010. Her wealth of experience and knowledge coupled with her pragmatic yet kind, very respectful and calm approach always left me feeling worry free after each visit. Vicki was also extremely open and flexible regarding birth options. I had a natural birth with gas only and felt completely safe and well looked after through the birth as Vicki (and the wonderful St Vincent's private midwives) talked me through each step of the way and was only positive and encouraging. I'd also recommend Vicki to other prospective same sex parents. Vicki is a genuine and lovely person as well and we're looking forward to her looking after my partner's pregnancy next!

Vicki delivered both my daughters in 2008 and 2012 respectively and I'm so glad she was available at such an important moment in my family's life. She was always professional and had a knack for making me feel relaxed and comfortable at every visit. I never felt hurried or rushed at appointments and always felt like I was in very safe hands. Many a consult would end up in general chit chat about life, school, kids etc and this was instrumental in making me feel connected to her not just as a patient, but as a friend as well. She was always honest and never hesitated to answer any questions I had, even though I'm sure I drove her nuts at times! Vicki respected my wishes to have as close to a natural labour as possible, and her encouragement, calm and positive manner at delivery, (at that most agonising and most vulnerable moment of the second stage!) gave me the impetus to continue. I really could not have asked for a more kind, considerate, relaxed and competent professional to deliver my two girls. I feel very fortunate to have had Vicki as my obstetrician and I highly recommend to her to anyone considering having a baby!

My GP referred me to Dr Vicki Nott for my first pregnancy saying, "You'll love her!!" and I still do even though I have finished my family. It is quite unique to find a medical professional that is so highly skilled and so very down to earth and personable. Vicki makes you feel like you are her sole patient, and is open to all discussions regarding the pregnancy and birth. Vicki assisted me through 2 emergency ceaserans with such professionalism and calm reassurance. Her intellect, clinical judgement, management and expertise are all essential in an obstertrician. It is just so wonderful that you also get such a beautiful person to meet with each month along the way. Likewise during times of sorrow (with my 2 miscarraiges) Vicki was just as brilliant with her warmth and empathy as well as encouragement. She does not forget anything about you between babies!! Dr Nott is highly professional, extremely competent and friendly. Throughout my pregnancy and birth, Vicki was calm and confident which ensured that I was too. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

We were thoroughly happy with Vicki and her practice, particularly the pragmatic, practical approach applied to our pregnancy and birth. She provided us with necessary information on choices and their risks and remained flexible enough to work with our wishes.
While professional, is also extremely personable and we always looked forward to our visits.
When it came to the crunch, a large baby and a consequential emergency caesarian, Vicki was very reassuring, supporting, and yet unobtrusive. We highly recommend Vicki to others.

Dr Nott is everything you want in an obstetrician: she knows exactly what she's doing but she will make every effort to accommodate your choices and won't dictate what happens; she'll make very reasonable suggestions and she'll give you clear assessments of risk but she won't tell you what to do; she's personable and always professional. I would unhesitatingly recommend her - and have already done so to few pregnant friends. Dr Nott mostly works at St Vincents Private who are also excellent.

As Vicki had previously been my gynaecologist when I became pregnant with my first child in 2006 I didn't hesitate to choose her as my obstetrician. Since then 2 more children have followed and she has been a fantastic doctor to me throughout all the varied experiences that 3 pregnancies/births bring. I looked forward to my visits with her as she was not only a fantastic clinician but showed great humour and interest in me as a person. When complications arose Vicki provided not only excellent clinical care but also fantastic reassurance and support. Her care and guidance during two caesarians and 1 natural birth was second to none and wholeheartedly recommend her as a dr and friend to share your birth experience with.

When I fell pregnant with our first child, Vicki was recommended to me from a friend. Over the months we got to know her I now know why! Being my first child I was quite nervous and feeling trepidation on such a major event. Vicki from the outset put my mind at ease through informative and supportive consultations. Throughout my pregnancy I was offered all sorts of advice and material to guide me through the process however this left me feeling like “information overload”. It was however, Vicki‘s advice that was progressive yet transparent about all aspects of pregnancy allowing me to be clear about any decision's that had to be made. From conception to delivery Vicki's warm and friendly personality distracted me from the stress of such a major event.

My GP referred me to Vicki and what a referral it was. Vicki was with us every step of the way. Her calm, supportive, friendly approach and nature made the experience we had with her very enjoyable. Vicki filled us with confidence and constantly put me at ease at each appointment with all my lists of questions. I never felt rushed at any appointment and left her office feeling confident and happy about each stage of my pregnancy. My pregnancy and birth journey was very much an enjoyable one knowing I had the support of Vicki behind me. I look forward to seeing her again for the next time

We chose Vicki as our obstetrician as she was highly recommended by friends of ours, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! Vicki is such a lovely, warm and caring doctor, we instantly felt comfortable with her. We can only imagine how many babies Vicki has delivered in her time as an obstetrician, yet she was as equally thrilled for us and made us even more excited about the pregnancy journey. I was referred to Dr Vicki Nott by a friend and arranged a pre-pregnancy consultation. I found Dr Nott to be the perfect combination of professional and friendly and there was no question in my mind that I wanted Dr Nott to be my obstetrician when I fell pregnant. I was extremely pleased with the care I received from Vicki throughout my pregnancy and I always felt calm and relaxed after my appointments, knowing everything was on track. On the big day, Vicki was so encouraging and supportive and I was able to focus on delivering my baby without any worries or concerns, knowing that Vicki had everything under control. I had expressed a desire early on for a drug-free birth with no intervention and Vicki was supportive of this desire both throughout my pregnancy and during labour and delivery. Overall, I was very happy that I'd chosen Vicki as my obstetrician and I would highly recommend her. I'll be back to see Vicki for #2 withouth a doubt!

Attending Vicki at a friend's recommendation, I found her kind and straightforward. I was left feeling entirely certain that she would do whatever was best for me and my child. And she did just that when complications became apparent late in my first pregnancy.
When I fell pregnant a second time, I considered seeing an obstetrician closer to home so I wouldn't have to deliver so far from my toddler. I subsequently miscarried just before my first check up, but the thoughtful communications I received from Vicki both before and after, reaffirmed that the level of care on offer is more important to me than proximity.
Subsequently I had the pleasure of being supported by Vicki through another high risk pregnancy and was so glad of my decision to return to her. While necessity dictated an early induction while Vicki was on (much deserved) leave, I nonetheless attribute the safe delivery of both of my beautiful boys to her.

Dr Nott is a wonderful doctor, I could not have been happier with the support she gave me throughout my pregnancy and birth. I always felt that I was in the safest of hands which meant I had a very relaxed, enjoyable birthing experience. I would highly recommend her and hope to have her as my obstetrician again for future babies.

I would highly recommend Vicki to anyone looking for an obstetrician. She has a lovely manner, kind and supportive without being gushy. I needed assistance before I had my first appointment and Vicki was wonderful, I will never forget her kindness and speedy response. Vicki would always allow time for me to ask questions and address any concerns with common sense while taking into consideration my preferences.

I saw Dr Nott in 2005 when we we expecting our first child. We were impressed with the clinic and liked Dr Nott straight away. however, I had jokingly asked if She was pregnant during our first meeting to which she laughed at my question and in hindsight I should have realized it might had been a very wise question as not long after signing up as a patient of hers, a letter was received explaining she was pregnant and would be away at the time of my due date. I was naturally devatested as I had bonded with her and expected her to be there till the due date. Instead I had another doctor at my delivery who was a different personality all together to Dr Nott and whom I had no connection with. I could have signed up with another obstetrician when I found out Dr Notts was pregnant but I was already eight weeks pregnant and worried I couldn't find another obstetrician. Also, it wasn't that I was upset dr Notts was pregnant but the fact that she didn't say yes to my question and give a straight forward answer. I am now pregnant again and will be seeking another Dr to help me with the pregnancy.

A wonderful doctor who's extremely knowledgeable, caring and has a great sense of humour. You feel very relaxed in your pregnancy knowing you are in such good hands. We were so glad we chose her - she's fantastic.

Vicki was absolutely fantastic from the first moment we met her - approachable, matter of fact, human and able to allay any concerns we had throughout the pregnancy. Her calm and friendly approach at the birth relaxed both myself and my partner. We felt listened to, supported and confident that Vicki was providing the best quality care. Any time we had a query during and after the pregnancy, Vicki responded very quickly, meaning we were never concerned about anything for long.
We would definitely return to Vicki for subsequent pregnancies.

My husband and I were thrilled with our choice of Vicki as our obstetrician in every way. She was very easy to talk to, speaking with experience (both personally and professionally) on pregnancy symptoms, feelings and common issues as well as all manner of medical and surgical topics. Vicki performed an emergency ceasarean for our birth and her friendly, professional and easy manner made us feel completely comfortable and despite the situation we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We couldn't recommend Vicki highly enough and will definitely return to her for future pregnancies. I'm not even sure how Vicki compares price-wise, but she is worth every penny!!
