The canteen is also amazingly priced so kids adults and grandparents alike can eat up a storm. Enjoy.

Absolutely awesome cinema theatre. See the newest movies while relaxing with armfuls of goodies from the candy bar that won’t break the bank. Serene atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. cheap day out to take the children-however i always take my own food as i find that the popcorn and drinks can be very expensive.

a great cheap place to take the kids out on school holidays.the cinema was a bit trashed when we went in to see our movie.cheaper deals in canteen area then other cinemas.

Good example of a local business, battling against the big business. Have fond memories of this cinema growing up and can't beat it for price - You can get a ticket and an armful of goodies for less than one ticket at event cinemas or united cinemas in narellan!

This place has been around FOREVER and is still going strong! Why pay $20+ to see a new-release movie in one of the big cinema chains when you can come here and see exactly the same thing for $6 and spend a lot (LOT) less on the necessities - popcorn, coke & choc-top! The service has & is always top notch, it's super clean and they've recently installed new digital equipment to make the movie-going experience just as good as the expensive cinemas. I have even brought my 2 small children here and on occasion, have had the whole cinema to ourselves in non-peak periods. It's brilliant! I highly recommend Dumaresq St Cinema over all the others in the area.

This cinema rocks on! For 6 bux you can see a good flick, went today to see Turbo lol! So 6 bux for anyone then for 5 bux u get small popcorn and drink and a kinder surprise, seriously unbeatable!

This is a fantastic little cinema with three rooms showing the latest movies. The staff are extra friendly and seem like they really enjoy their jobs which makes their customer service skills excel. The tickets are the cheapest you will find anywhere at just $6 each for kids and adults. The candy bar offers all the things movie goers enjoy and they are also really really cheap. Choc tops are only $1.50 each... How can you go wrong. The only thing they ask is that you take your rubbish with you when you leave so that they don't have to employ people to clean up after you. My whole family love this theatre. We can all go and see a movie and get popcorn, choc tops, chips, lollies and drinks with the movie tickets for less than $50 for 6 people. Value with a capital V...

These cinemas are an interesting prospect. On the positive side, the tickets are incredibly cheap plus you can get a full refund if you cancel before the session time (which is great when something comes up, like it did for us when there recently). However, on the downside, there are no allocated seats; meaning first in gets best choice. This can lead to queues around the corner at times and when you get in, the cinema floor is flat - so if your kids get stuck behind an adult, they can't see.

Very cheap.. I go here if I feel like going to see a movie that doesn't need to be seen on the big screen. The candy bar is cheap too and makes going to the movies really affordable. Great value for money especially if you have kids!

For 6 dollars you really do get what you paid for! Better than most movie theatres i say! Though on the weekends and holidays the lines can be long, but what do you expect when something is so cheap?? The service at the counters are great, the people are nice. There's not much to say, just buy your tickets online and go in and wait early for good seats! I've been going there since i was a little kid, the place has never changed which is great! I am satisfied when i visit here.

Great value for money at Dumaresq St Cinemas. All movie tickets are only $6 each - AMAZING! A word of warning though - it does get very very crowded during school holidays and sessions are often sold out hours in advance so it is a good idea to book your tickets online during these busy periods.

This is a great little cinema for the people who don't want to pay the big dollars at the bigger cinemas to see a movie. It has 3 separate cinemas so there's usually something different on all the time. The snack bar is also cheap for lollies, popcorn and other goodies you might like. Last time I was there movies were around $6.50 and as you'd agree that's cheap. A great little cinema!

Its good to have somewhere to go for a cheap movie these days - when one adult ticket can cost $15+ at larger cinemas. I've gone with groups of people for only around $50.

All the usual foods and drinks offered, along with all facilities.

Where can you go to see a movie with the whole family and friends (10 in total) for just over $100 and that's all the tickets popcorn and a drink!!!
Try and buy just the tickets alone from any other cinema

This cinema is absolutely great, they offer great value for money and the movie experience is just as good as commercial cinemas, with less ads.

I think this is the best value to go and see a,live. I would never go any where else. Staff are friendly and very clean.

Staff are always pleasant and helpful - movie theatres are always clean and tidy and the prices are family affordable!

We are so lucky to have this quality cinema, prices are extremely low on everything! You can fill up at the candy bar, buy your movie ticket and still have change from $20!! Highly recommended for any one.

Its a nice little cinema with a private and family feel. The foods and drinks are reasonable, and the staff are friendly also.

I think this cinema has a bad reputation, but i am yet to see why! The service is always excellent, and generally efficient (except when really popular movies are on, and people don't know where to queue), and the staff are quite friendly. The theatre is generally quite clean, and although the cinema is small, it does not lack the movie theatre experience. The value for money however is unsurpassed. You can get a large combo, and your movie ticket for less than the ticket price at a chain cinema. The food and the movie are exactly the same, and i am much happier paying much less!

The major point is that it is cheap and great value. About the 3rd of the price of Event Cinema. The cinema's are not too bad. The service is bad, and not very helpful, though, you cannot expect miracles.

Good prices(at $6 per ticket I don't know of anywhere cheaper)current films are shown at convenient times.With bright cheerful front of house staff who odo not rush you out when the credits are rolling, this is a pleasurable experience which we enjoy at least once a fortnight.I just hope they will keep going for a long time to come.

It is very affordable. has the lowest price in all sydney and people come from different suburbs to see a movie in this cinema because they can't afford the big cinemas.

Can you believe $6 movie tickets and a free lunch to boot (if you go to the matinee). This is a great family run business. Maybe not so good for a night out with someone special but for a place to take the kids or just to see a latest release it can't be beaten
