I've been coming to Ella Rouge for over 5 years now for all of my skincare & body treatments. They are experts at helping you find the right product to use at home and they have a large range of in-salon treatments to choose from. I've had waxing, ipl laser & many many facials here. They also have regular specials which I definitely take advantage of. They currently have 50% off ipl laser treatments.

I recently purchased some gifts from Bon Bon Fine Chocolates and the recipients told me they loved them. One friend is a nutella nut and Bon Bon do their own fancy chocolate hazelnut version and she absolutely loved it. Next time I'm near the store I will definitely pop in and grab something for myself. It is always very busy so all of their products must be popular. They sell nougat, chocolate covered nuts and fruit, hot chocolate mixes etc - so many mouth-watering products I wouldn't know where to begin!

Approximate cost: $10 nutella

This is a tiny little café in the middle of the Strand Arcade in Sydney which I came across recently. From what I could see, they only serve coffee and you can choose to stand at the counter to drink-in or takeaway. I had a skim cappuccino takeaway and it was hot and strong - the way it's meant to be. It is always a very busy cafe whenever I walk past but I'm glad I stopped and tried it. Will definitely be back.

We recently had lunch here with a large group of friends and family and we had a really great time. It was surprisingly quiet thankfully so we could re-arrange our tables to suit ourselves. Their menu is good, mainly pub-grup - burgers, pizzas, steak etc. I wasn't that hungry so I had Salt n Pepper Calamari and it was delicious. Most of our group had burgers and there was a selection of beef, lamb or chicken - they all looked great & very filling. They have a massive selection of wines (I sampled a few bottles of bubbles & rose) along with many beers, both on tap & bottled including Duff Beer from The Simpsons (hubby sampled that lol). We had a lovely time sitting here for hours.

Approximate cost: $15 burger 5 beer

We recently stayed at The Sydney Boulevard Hotel for my birthday and it was great. We arrived earlier than check-in but the reception tried their best to make our room available to us - which they did. It's centrally located to all of the main attractions in Sydney without being over-priced like some cbd hotels. We had our kids with us and had a Harbourview room with 2 double beds. The room was very neat, tidy & clean and we all slept well. Included in our room price was a Continental Breakfast which didn't include the hot selections unfortunately but the toasts, fruit & cereals were more than enough for us. I'd definitely stay here again.

This place is amazing! It's about time we got a Mexican Restaurant in the Campbelltown area. I was here on the opening day and they offered free burritos all day to everyone. I had a spicy chicken burrito full of yummy rice, black beans, cheese & chicken. Even the kids got a free burrito (non-spicy of course). I have since been back & bought the hubby a burrito and took it to him at work for lunch - he said it was amazing too! They have a lot on their menu which I will definitely be sampling. Prices are reasonable - a burrito is $10.90 but it is so filling. You won't leave Guzman's hungry that's for sure. They also have sauces and extra jalapenos which you can add yourself at no extra cost - yum & hot! Will definitely be back soon.

Approximate cost: $12

This review is for The Italian Food Project, Camden NSW

My hubby & kids took me to this new restaurant for my birthday recently and it is yummy! It's the newest addition to Camden and seems to be very popular - especially on weekends. We had no probs booking a table for a Thursday night though. It's probably not the best place to take a 4 year old & a 2 year old as it is quite small & the wooden floor exacerbates the kids' noise. It'd definitely be the place to go for a quiet date just with hubby (will remember that for next time). That saying, the kids menu is great with a few selections - ours had a veal schnitzel with chips & gelato and they enjoyed it. As for hubby & I, we shared a Capricciosa pizza and Taglietelle with blue-swimmer crab and both were delicious. We had also ordered a side of salad but that never arrived - thankfully we were full & they did apologise for it being missed. I had a lovely glass (maybe 2) of Pinot Grigio and hubby had a Peroni. Would definitely recommend The Italian Food Project for a lovely dinner out.

I met a friend for coffee at this café yesterday and it is very pleasant although a little more of a 'lunch' spot rather than a 'coffee' spot as most other patrons ordered food I noticed. For a café, I was a little off-put by the tiny cup of coffee & the $4 price tag! In saying that, it was a nice, clean, popular place, I just won't be going back for 'coffee'.

Approximate cost: $4 for a very small coffee

I absolutely love (and crave sometimes) the Aussie Sunrise breakfast here. I wish it was an all-day item on their menu although perhaps that'd be a bad idea - waist wise! It's 2 pancakes, butter, syrup, egg, bacon, grilled banana & pineapple - bizarre but yum! Their Vanilla Swiss Shake is also to-die-for! Other items I have tried are Macadamia Madness, Hot n Troppo and a Regular Stack. The kids love coming here and are very well catered for with colouring in pages & pencils. The kids menu is great and we usually get a butterfly or funny face pancake. Highly recommend Pancakes any time of the day.

I've only had the 'hand-cut' chips here and a large size for $4 was absolutely massive. They were very fresh, actually 'hand-cut' (you can see the cooking area) and delicious. I did look at their burger selection and they all looked like they'd be yummo - if their chippies are anything to go by. Will definitely try a burger next time I have a burger craving.

Approximate cost: $4 for humungous serve of chips
