I was desperate to find a babysitter when my prior babysitter had to cancel due to illness. It was 40th Birthday party and even though all of Diane's babysitters had prior engagements, she didn't cease until she had found someone for me. You just don't see service like that any more. I'll never forget it!

I used Dummies & Playdates for a corporate holiday party on Fort Denison. We had 110 guests, with 12 of them being children 10 and under. Diane was such a joy to work with from the moment we booked her until the end of our event. She responded promptly, made sure all my questions were answered and brought very nice, well-trained nannies. She listened to what we wanted for our event and delivered on all accounts. No need for us to look any further for nanny staffing at our events - we've found the best!

We were in Australia for a wedding, and last minute decided to book a babysitter, so we called Dummies and Playdates. Diane made the process very easy, and put us in touch with Hayley, who was just fantastic. She was very competent, experienced, and friendly with my 3 year old and 18 month old, and I really felt like they were in the best of hands. I would definitely recommend them. Thanks!

When my husband said we needed to hire a babysitter for our 5 year old, I wasn't so sure I wanted to hire a complete stranger to watch my child. But after speaking to Diane and then meeting the sitter I was instantly put at eze and felt comfortable enough to go ahead with the baby sitter. More importantly our 5 year had fun and really liked Julie... My husband and I would recomend Dummies and play dates, We will be using them again ....

We needed a babysitter at the very last minute and Diane and her team got it sorted within an hour. I was very impressed with her customer service and the babysitter was fantastic! I'll definitely use dummies and Playdates again.

The owner /manager was great to deal with she gave me a discount and was in constant contact leading up to my wedding. I had two child care works on the night one was fantastic the other looked like she would have rather be anywhere else but looking after my daughter. I was appalled at the attitudes of the workers and they even went to the extreme of trying to charge me more money for them being there, all because we were having a few to drink. The staff members really let down the good name that they have been trying to make. I personally will not be using them again in the future which is a shame because Diane was amazing with getting her workers ready for it.

Some things I appreciated: clear and prompt communication, responsible and experienced sitter, on-time arrival and Julie even agreed to stay longer when we found ourselves having too much fun.
