We have settled our property 5 weeks ago now and we are still chasing them to complete pending matters which were outlined in the settlement report. There has been all false promises and dates given and nothing has been completed. The overall experience has been extremely difficult with unbelievable amounts of paper work and time spent visiting offices and suppliers and then told items are out of stock. Poor workmanship and disgusting service which is not acceptable at all. Do not work with this builder if you have a choice unless you want to add stress and anxiety to your life. Horrible horrible horrible nightmare.

Do your self a favour and save yourself from stress and anxiety to choose any other builder who makes your dream home.
I can guarantee you that EBHs will give you nothing but frustration, nightmares before, during and after building.
They have good home designs, nice and polite sales team, but very arrogant, unethical and unprofessional sale tender and contract team and their team leader.
It took EBHs 7 months from our first meeting with sales team and to have our first tender presentation meeting in which all the variations we made in standard floor plan was agreed and confirmed but because we disagreed and challenged sales tender and contract team leader lady on some structural and building technical points which after consulting with EBHs draft/ structural engineer we were proven correct.
Since after this event sales tender and contract team leader tried to forced us by signing variations without explaining/ proper tender presentation meeting which we refused to sign as we were aware she is trying to avoid us by explaining technical points of our variations and we won’t be able to make any change after signing variations document.
She refused to give us of her time for meeting, never answered to our calls and responded to our emails after 3-4 weeks.
She took this personal and hold grudges against us and framed us by manipulating HO team with her make up storyline to make them agree on not to proceed with our build.
EBHs current sales tender and contract team leader is an extremely egoistic, arrogant and unprofessional person who is amazingly good in manipulating her senior management so she can get away after she treats clients rudely, arrogantly and disrespectfully who crossed questions and proved her that she lacked some technical build skills and asked questions about whatever she is telling and charging us.
EBHs just choose those clients who do not challenge whatever they are telling you on technical build points and rip off client who have no build technical knowledge so EBHs can easily make them agreed to whatever they are saying and charging.

My experience with Eden Brae Homes has been nothing short of a disappointment. From the very beginning, it became evident that their workmanship was of poor quality. Not only did they fail to deliver on their promises, but they also neglected to honor the warranty period, leaving me with no recourse for the issues I encountered.

One of the most frustrating aspects was their consistent failure to respond to my emails and phone calls. I found myself constantly chasing them for updates and repairs, resulting in wasted time and significant financial losses. Their lack of communication and responsiveness only added to the frustration and inconvenience.

To give you an idea of the subpar work they delivered, let me provide you with a few examples. The garage door, windows, and mirrors that were installed were all scratched and dented, and despite my requests for replacements, Eden Brae Homes outright refused. Additionally, the driveway, which was supposed to be durable, cracked and lifted up within a month, and their response was to deny responsibility for the damage.

Perhaps the most alarming incident occurred in my kitchen, where a pipe needed repair after it leaked flooding downstairs. Instead of using new materials, Eden Brae Homes opted for a second-hand pipe, compromising the integrity of the repair. Moreover, the isle bench was never properly grouted back into the floor, resulting in an unsightly and unprofessional finish.

Furthermore, during the cleaning process, the tiles and grout in various areas of the property were damaged. Despite my pleas for them to rectify the situation, Eden Brae Homes simply painted over the grout, which has since peeled off, leaving me with an even more disheveled appearance. Their refusal to address the damage and replace the tiles in question as well as use grout instead of paint is both disheartening and unacceptable.

Considering the significant financial losses and the negative impact on the property's resale value, I must now front the excessive cost of repairs due to Eden Brae Homes' incompetence. This additional burden only adds insult to injury.

In conclusion, my experience with Eden Brae Homes has been marred by poor workmanship, unfulfilled warranties, a lack of communication, and unfinished jobs. I implore you to avoid them at all costs and seek out a construction company that values their customers and delivers on their promises. The level of incompetence, unprofessionalism, and disregard for customer satisfaction exhibited by Eden Brae is beyond belief.

I will NEVER recommend Eden Brae or will NEVER build with them again. During the process we were blindsided with extra costs. The consultants were very unhelpful and just wanted you in and out. During the build the site manager was not helpful and was always angry at my concerns, when you spent $320,000.00 on a house you expect to be able to have decent home.

We have huge cracks in the roof And walls. The paint colour is very poor and all doors and frames have changed colours, chips cracks and uneven sanding.

Bath room grates and tap wear have discoloured and chipped not the stainless steel as we were told. Tile seals not completed correctly and gaps allowing water to seep through.

Uneven walls, walls bend and move. Flimsy structure.

Very un happy and would never recommend nor would I build with Eden Brae.

Great service! Spoke with Matthias Kocher, he was really great! Explained everything really well, gave us all the information we needed and went the extra length to invite us to an information seminar as we are first home buyers. He was very bubbly and gave a welcoming vibe. Definitely recommend going through him!
