When it comes to quirky places to eat in Noosa, you can't go past Elvis's cafe. Yes the king (or his statue) is there, but when someone has a sense of fun, you know they will bring something interesting to the menu.

They do like to make the claim that they have the best fish & chips in town, but really, they are pretty good. While we did have the seafood, they have a large number of other items on the menu. But when you are beside the water, what you really want to eat is seafood anyway.

They have affordable prices and have a meal for everyone! The portion size is great and the have a nice seating area under shade cloths so you stay out of the sun. You have a great view of the river. My family and I loved the atmosphere of the cafe whilst we were on holiday.

We stayed in Noosaville in September 2012 and visited Elvis's Cafe/Takeaway. It is in a fantastic location just past the strip of cafes and restaurants, there is plenty of parking and its still directly across the road from the water. We stopped in twice during our stay, once for ice-cream and the next time for lunch. The food and service were both very good and affordable.
We would definitely return when in the area!

The chicken schnitzel dinner is amazing.

We each got two schnitzels. The salad was delicious and the chips were great.

There was an excellent selection of foods at this cafe/takeaway.

You can sit at the tables at the open air cafe or take your food over the road and eat it as the sun sets over the Noosa river.
