The outside of the building is very run down looking and as you enter the building you get a very strong musty smell. If you manage to push thru this and walk outside you are met with an amazing view of the ocean and some fantastic picnic benches. The food is very good and much more than one would expect and the price is a tad expensive.

Love going to this pub, it has an awesome beer garden overlooking the ocean where u can chill out with a nice cold beer watching the sun set. It does get pretty busy there on the weekends so getting a feed can take a while.

Approximate cost: $25

We visit Lancelin regularly and always pop into the tav for lunch or dinner. The beer garden is definitely what keeps us coming here. The views are just amazing and it is very nice sitting out in the beer garden enjoying a wine watching the sunset. A band plays on weekends which also adds to the atmosphere along with the veey relaxed feel. The one thing however that does let this tav down is the horrendously long wait for food service. This place getsvery bbusy and you have to line up to order which can take up to half an hour on a very busy day and then you're looking at at least an hour wait for food to come out. If this could be improved somehow then thos tav would be perfect. I always order the creamy garlic prawns or the chicken burger and have never had any complaints as its always been cooked perfect.

Approximate cost: $20-30

We visited Lancelin on the way back from Cervantes and meant to stop by the "Tav" for lunch. When we walked in, we could see that it was a very popular pub and all the tables overlooking the gorgeous sea were occupied. We found a cosy table inside (near the TAB) and wanted to order food. But we took a look at the queue to order and thought it would take too long to place and order, and also for food to be served. Ended up leaving after a beer and headed to Lancelin Beach Hotel for yummy lunch.

Approximate cost: $18

We had a meal there whilst holidaying in Lancelin. From the dirty glasses to the over priced truely disappointing food - there was nothing good about it. The staff were rude, the eating area very dim and their pasta was quite possibly the worst I have ever had in my life. I think they only stay in business because there is not a lot of choice.

This is a great little pub that only the tourists visit. Its a nice setting to sit outside on the lawn overlooking the ocean with your fish and chips and a beer however the staff are not super friendly and the locals very territorial. You'll be lucky if you get a go on the pool table.

The food was half decent, the service was extremely difficult and the men in the room was soo rude and obnoxious. No charm about this place at all. In this day and age pig behaviour is not acceptable. Will never go back to this town.

Approximate cost: $20.00

A great little costal town pub with a typical pub menu. We had the fish and chips which were great. The service was pretty basic but I think they were a bit under the pump and short staffed. Just watch out for the locals as they (rightfully) feel they own the place and don't take too kindly to strangers, but that sort of thing adds to the charm of the place

Approximate cost: $30
