The best vet in WA! All the staff here treat each animal personally and give the owners plenty of time. Our 2 dogs have always being extremely well looked after here, to the point where our dog Maxine gets excited each year when we take her to get her vaccinations. The staff really looked after us when our cat Soxy had to be put down, with one of the students holding his paw as he went off to sleep. They don't get any better than the staff here!

An unbeatable little fish and chip shop where $2 of chips in enough to feed a family of 4 with some left over for the dogs. The chips are always fresh and everything is cooked exactly the same way it was 20 years ago. Love the crab sticks and Snapper!

Approximate cost: $20 for a family of 4 and 2 dogs

A fantastic place to have lunch when shopping. The farmhouse is my favorite
Crêpe. The food is always fresh and the portion sizes are good. The coffee is pretty good as well. Great for a snack or lunch. The service is a little bit lax but nothing to complain about.

A fantastic up-market baby shop that has also started doing toys for older kids. They have a huge range of top quality gear. The staff are friendly and helpful, however I am not so sure that the girl who served me actually knew how to use the car seat we were looking at for my son- she was helpful anyway as I knew what we wanted and the features required. They were a bit more expensive than most other places but they seem to stock the better quality products and I am happy to pay more to actually get served by someone who is enthusiastic and cares.

An unbeatable butches shop with some fantastic products. My personal favorite is the Beef Swags which are a pastry filled with the most tender meat chunks in a special gravy. We have never had a bad piece of meat from here you can always rely on them to have the best meat in town. Great stuff for dinners, BBQ's or just any time! They cost a bit more than places like Coles but when you taste the food you know it is worth it!

A great little vacuum shop. We purchased a bagless vacuum here. The lady who assisted us demonstrted a range fo vacuums to us and allowed us to try some out in the shop before making our decision. She seemed to know her products and was passionate about them, something that we didn't get when we looked elsewhere. She asked lots of questiosn about what we wanted to do with it and seemed to choose the most suitable options for us to try. She spent plenty of time with us and made sure we were happy with the product.

We went to Lava Stonegrill for my brother-in-law's 30th birthday. I must admit that I didn't understand the whole concept of the place before entering so that may have skewed my judgement a little. The whole concept of the place is that your meat is brought out raw and you cook it on a lava stone that can be used for up to 35 mins. Anyway, I ordered the Reef & Beef expecting that the beef would be raw and the seafood component would be cooked (I am not a big fan of sushi). The whole dish came out raw and had to be cooked at a cost of about $35 which I felt was a bit much for the size of the portions (2 prawns, a scallop and small piece (~100g) of beef plus small saladconsisting of cabbage, beetroot, and sprouts). We had a party of 16 people and the cooking of the meat in the unventilated room was a bit much and we were soon smoked out- it was good fun though doing a bit of a cook up on a stone- gave that real cavement feeling.
The seats were a bit of a hazard with the seat base falling off my chair (there were no screws in it) and later my mother-in-law noticed that the back of her chair was falling off- neither of us is overweight.
Desert was great but very overpriced.
Service from the staff was great considering how busy the place was.
Overall a great novelty visit, but once was enough for me

Approximate cost: $~$35

The best little computer shop around. They sell both new and refurbihsed models. We have purchased our last 4 new desktop computers and 3 refurbished lap tops from here and they have all being fantastic. The guys know what they are talking about and can quickly recomend a computer. They seem to use generic parts so it is easy to upgrade or add on to your computer. They often have some great bargains in the refurbished stock and really look after customers. For our last computer we asked for some pretty specilised software and they were able to provide it. They also got our old computer and transfered all the documents and settings across for us, saving us a heap of time and trouble.

Approximate cost: $1800 new computer

A great little costal town pub with a typical pub menu. We had the fish and chips which were great. The service was pretty basic but I think they were a bit under the pump and short staffed. Just watch out for the locals as they (rightfully) feel they own the place and don't take too kindly to strangers, but that sort of thing adds to the charm of the place

Approximate cost: $30
