Visiting from Sydney, we went to the sky deck, wow the view is great, service is with a smile, very clean place, apart from the toilets.
Kids loved the whole experience.

The gift shop has some great gift ideas.

My partner and I visited the Eureka Skydeck in between courses at Eureka 89. My partner had been before, but it was my first experience. Being at night, it wasn't very busy which meant we could experience the 360 degree view at our own pace and take time to look at all the landmarks of Melbourne.
We also did The Edge. We had a 30sec wait from once we paid. The Edge staff was very friendly and explained the process very clearly to us. With just a group of four going on The Edge, we had a bit longer to experience The Edge to its full extent, walking around, looking out from every angle and then worry about photos.
Highly recommended experience for tourists or locals!

Approximate cost: $24

The SkyDeck provides great views over Melbourne, the metro area, and Port Phillip Bay! The staff are friendly, and when we went, it wasn't too crowded, meaning we were able to take our time getting some ripper photos!

Approximate cost: $18.50

Its definitely a good place to bring interstate or overseas guests to this sky deck. I have been a couple of times and enjoyed the experience, so did our overseas family members who came along too one time.

Its a good way to see city views and do something different.

Its in a good location, so you can along for a walk, get a meal or drink etc along Southbank.

this place is better than the rialto observation deck....but then again it costs more! TIP : get at sunset and watch the sunt set and observe the city going from day to night within 60 minutes. beatiful. don't do the edge ride. bit of a rip off!!!!!!!!!!!!

A fantastic experience, great views...
Very pricey entry in my opinion, for just entering a tall building and looking out of windows... they know how to make their money at almost $20 per person.
Wouldn't dare eat or drink anything up there, I can imagine the cost.
Something we might do once a year or so, just for fun.

The Eureka Skydeck is amazing. 88 floors above Melbourne with complete 360 degree views.

Look out over Port Phillip Bay, the MCG, Flinders Street Station and many other landmarks.

You can also try "The Edge Experience" which is a glass room that moves out and hangs over the edge of the building allowing you to look straight down. Unfortunately they won't let you take your camera into the Edge experience.

There is also a cafe and souvenir shop upstairs.

Worth a look if you're visiting Melbourne.

Eureka actually is the highest viewing platform in the southern athmosphere. Not only you'll get a stunning 360 degree view of the city of Melbourne, the skydeck is a must see for every visitor. You can also step out to a terrace for a reflection free view, but be aware of the wind!
It is really interesting up there as they created some sort of sound and light experience which is following the viewer's looks and makes the place really special. You also have the opportunity to sit down, have a snack and watch on-screen footy games.
My husband and I were holding an annual skypass which means we had full year unlimited admission to the skydeck and we used it at least monthly, often after work. That is why I would recommend a visit prior to sunset in winter whilst the office building lights are still on and the sky changes its colour.
It truly is a great experience and one of my absolute favourite things to do in Melbourne!

Approximate cost: $AUD 17.50, annual pass AUD 50

Sky deck is great fun, a good place to take your tourist friends to. Awesome view of the city and taking the lift up is so fast it's like something I have never experienced before.
