Amazing and very helpful company! Found out i had a cavity, made an appointment and the next day they were able to help me out. Dr. Ben Gooden was very professional, friendly and explained every step in the process. Even got a discount on top of all, would recommend 10/10

I see Ben at Albert st Face Value and I be been so happy with the service abd the quality of his work that I recommend him to everyone! Yesterday I had a scale and clean with the dental hygienist, not a cut gum or missed stain, the woman is thorough and loves what she does! Which I think makes the difference in any field, the bigger the chunk of calculus she removes the brighter her eyes shine!

Good but watch out for the billing. We paid everything on the day of treatment, but we recently received bill eight months later for items they had missed
I don't mind paying in full for services used but the delay meant it couldn't be processed by health cover (we had switched companies in this time) which left us out of pocket for mistakes made on their part.

I'm a very happy customer of Face Value Dental's Macleay Island surgery. Being a resident of Russell Island, the availability of a dentist's surgery only a 10 minute ferry ride away is fantastic. As a Medicare funded patient who has needed, and continues to need, a great deal of dental treatment, the service provided by the Macleay Island clinic is exceptional. My dentist, Dr Kristine Bettle, is incredibly professional and understanding of my needs. I have had teeth extracted in the past, however without a doubt Kristine's extraction of one of my teeth recently was the quickest and most painless of all. A comprehensive dental plan was drawn up after my first visit, the first time a dentist has ever done one for me. With the closing of the Chronic Diseases Dental Health Scheme on 1 December 2012, the team at Face Value are doing their utmost to ensure that my dental plan is complete by then. I couldn't recommend Face Value Dental more highly.

I've been going to Face Value Dental for a few years now, and agree that it is a fantastic practice. Dr. Malcolm is the best dentist I've had (and I've been to quite a few!). Apart from his extensive knowledge, he is also very thorough, with a calm and reassuring manner. He explains every step.
The rest of the staff are also really friendly and helpful.

BIG WIN TODAY!! Previous dentist quoted me $1,550 to put a crown on a problem tooth. Today, Maria at Face Value Dental simply replaced the filling on that tooth and the one next to it, for a total of $150!! Gee, one tenth of the price? Something doesn't add up with my previous dentist!

Definitely happy with Face Value Dental's pricing which is lower if you are a member of Noble Dentist.

Good facilities, City location, friendly staff. Going back on Monday to fix a tooth that my previous dentist said would require REMOVING and replacing with an implant at a ridiculous price!

I went there for a second opinion on a crown work for my front tooth. Did not end up using their service, but I was impressed with their customer care. The dentist was very helpful and seems very knowledgeable.

Very friendly - a little bit expensice as dentists are but do offer dental plans which sadly are through GE finance but at least they have something. Also offer a range of treatments and "calming agents" to get you through that nerve wracking appointment that we all dread

The most pleasant experience I have had as far as a trip to the dentist goes! The staff are lovely and friendly, the dentists are very easy to get along with and the location is very central and handy.

I had a lot of work done recently, around a dozen fillings and a root canal as well. You can probably guess from that workload that I don't particularly relish visits to the dentist :)

Well, after visiting Joe Hidegh and his assistant Zara, I can say that he is the best dentist that I have ever had, and I will be going to him for life if possible. He went way above necessary in many ways. First of all I had a ton of questions about my treatment options etc, and he was happy to answer them in detail, whereas most dentists just give you a terse reply and just 'dive in'. He's also a very friendly guy and just great to talk to.

He was happy to cater to special requests I had. As I planned to get whitening done, I wanted the fillings a little whiter than my teeth were currently and he was happy to oblige. I asked to take extra precautions like a rubber dam even when not totally necessary and again he was only too happy to do that even thought it's not standard practice. In fact because of this he spend a lot of time getting the right fitting brace there. One tooth was really oddly shaped, and my gums kept getting rubbed by the metal brace, and he replaced it 4 times I think until we found one that fit - thanks! Zara was also great in this regard, very good at making sure the patient's comfortable.

But mainly what amazed me was the extra effort he put into the quality of the work. He's a real professional. He spent a lot of extra time after each filling was completed getting it to not only the perfect height (the part where you chomp on the ink - for every tooth he had me do this 3-5 times to really get it perfect). But after that, maybe 5 minutes on top, to get a really natural looking geography to the tooth as well. Almost every tooth in my mouth has at least one filling, and you can't even tell!

Finally, all of this was done while I was getting treated on special promotional rates at the time due to their recent expansion, so it was just pure class on his part to be treated with that much respect and attention to detail, it was definitely above and beyond.

After getting a lot of work recently elsewhere, coming to this clinic was a breath of fresh air, my dentist Joe and his assistant (Zara, i think) were both very friendly and professional, i like the fact my options regarding treatment were given clearly and the pros and cons were explained and Joe was happy to answer questions i had. I can definitely say i feel a lot less nervous about going to the dentist after this visit.

I am 54yo & it's the best dentist I've ever been to. All staff members are courteous & friendly. They explain in detail the procedures they be doing-including cost. Alison & the Hygienist are very gentle & caring. I am having general dental & teeth whitened. I live 600km away & because of the service I receive it's worth the distance I travel.

good opening hours and adequate numbers of staff members means ha getting an appointment is not a trial, which is nice in this day and age where it seems everything needs to be done during business hours.

For someone with a real phobia of dentists this team helped me greatly.Alison took the time to support and encourage me throughout my treatment. The program of treatment was thoroughly explained,both in terms of why it was needed and how it would be done.
