This review is for No Bull Blinds, Artarmon NSW

Manufacturing and installation of a roller blind in bedroom: the service was prompt, informative, friendly, helpful. They responded very quickly to my enquiry, came out to my house for a measurement and made the blind within a week.
They are based in NSW, but now also has an office on the Gold Coast, so they serve the Brisbane area.

This review is for Slightly Twisted Refreshment Lounge, Nundah QLD

As the name indicates (Refreshment Lounge, not Cafe) the place is quite chic and classy. Polished service, little unique touches (colourful crockery, interesting decor), very clean (what a pleasure). Attentive service too. One Saturday evening I was there and they had live entertainment (jazz singers). Other times they play nice relaxing music.
But the best: they're open until 9pm Wed - Sat.! Sunday until 4pm. I always support businesses that stay open later than the average - at least one can go for a coffee after work/gym/shopping/cinema/after dinner even.
I haven't eaten there, but the tea/coffee is very good. They serve light meals, snacks (like a few chic platters), cakes and quiches.
They also don't mind giving me an extra pot of hot water for my tea. This may seem trivial, but it is important to me, as I drink my tea very weak!

I go to Transit Tavern frequently - very convenient when shopping at Woolworths or DFO. They have very good opening hours, so I hope that people will support them: pop in for a drink after/before shopping!

The service is quick, efficient and friendly. The food's fine too: I particularly like their roast beef salad, or the grilled salmon. They never mind bringing me extra pots of hot water for my tea either.(I often go there early evening after gym and am very thirsty then, so drink pots of tea!).

This review is for The Coffee Club, Ascot QLD

Standard Coffee Club food and drinks (which is quite good value for money), but what makes this outlet memorable is the friendly and helpful staff. They always oblige to bring me an extra pot of hot water for my tea!
The opening hours are also very good - at least one can go for a coffee/tea late afternoon or early evening. Most other coffee shops close ridiculously early.

This review is for Face Value Dental, Brisbane QLD

I've been going to Face Value Dental for a few years now, and agree that it is a fantastic practice. Dr. Malcolm is the best dentist I've had (and I've been to quite a few!). Apart from his extensive knowledge, he is also very thorough, with a calm and reassuring manner. He explains every step.
The rest of the staff are also really friendly and helpful.
Face Value Dental truly minimises the trauma of dental visits.

This review is for Woolworths, Ascot QLD

The Woolworths in Racecourse Road is what you would expect from a Woolworths Metro outlet (more limited range than a bigger store). A nice touch is that they often have a table with reduced fruit and veg items.
However, the store is always freezing! Even in winter they have the air conditioning on full blast. I have talked to the staff about it thrice, to no avail.
On one occasion, as the customers stood shivering, I asked the cashier if she could please ask the manager to look into it, and she said "she was one of the managers" and that it was just because of the freezers being in a smaller space than the average store. Not a logical explanation at all - other small grocery stores do not have that problem.

This review is for Alessandro Casanova Italian Shoes, Hamilton QLD

Excellent - all the elements a good shoe shop needs: good quality shoes, good variety, great service. Very generous opening hours too, so anyone can shop there after work.
