Anthony replaced our rear fence, this was not a straightforward job and Anthony did an excellent job. The replacement was completed in a timely fashion and dealing with him was a pleasure. Throughout difficult and months-long negotiations for a shared paling fence with a neighbour, Anthony was unfailingly helpful and kind, and he and his wife cheerfully submitted more than one very detailed quote as was needed. Our general Maintenance Man (someone I trust, also a gem) had told me that Anthony was the only Fencer that he would consider using, so that is one part of the negotiations that I would not waver on: Anthony had to do the job even though we had to wait several months for his availability. (The neighbour could not argue about Anthony’s quoted price, which was very competitive notwithstanding Anthony’s superior work.) The new fence was built this week and it is perfectly straight, seems very sturdy and by comparison makes most of the surrounding fences – even the new ones – look inferior. Gordon and Jesse, who did the bulk of the physical work, were polite and seemed happy to answer the few questions I had during construction. You won’t be surprised to know that I’m happy to recommend Fencing by Anthony without reservation.

After experiencing Anthony's high level of quality and skill on a smaller job ~12 months ago, we had no hesitation in reengaging him to build our front fence.

Anthony built a bespoke capped picket front fence for us, including a automatic sliding driveway gate, a indented pedestrian gate and letterbox. Anthony looked after all of the processes, including concreting (for the posts and sliding gate), waste removal (there was lots of dirt as the posts were set so deep into the ground) and the automation experts to install the gate motor.

Not only is his workmanship very good, but we were able to let him complete the job alone as we needed to head into work. He even went the extra mile to ensure our existing paling side fences met with the new front gate.

I'd have no hesitation in going with him again, and have since recommended him to family and friends.

I got 3 quotes to replace a falling down boundary paling fence. Whilst Anthony wasn't the cheapest, he was the only one that went above and beyond in answering any questions I had (and I had quite a few), and was happy to guide me through the pros and cons of my options. He responded to calls, texts and emails the same day/night. Other contractors either didn't respond when I had a questions, or took several days to get back to me. This gave me great confidence that Anthony would also get back to me quickly if I had any issues after the fence went up. The finished product is top quality with a very solid retaining wall section at the bottom. Highly recommended.
