We loved this place when it opened because it was hip and local. Nowadays not even the kids want to go because the serves are small and the menu just does not change- us adults think it is overpriced. We just don't go there any more.

Not at all impressed with this place..It was just a glorified take away shop with too high prices. Yes its kid friendly but with the prices they charge for just plain fish and chips and a little bit of salad you can get better for your money at a take away shop. The fish batter was was stodgy the salad just plain and there wasn't any table service so It wasnt very enjoyable.

Wonderful food, priced well, staff can be a little snooty at times LOL, but most of them are lovely. You always get water with your meal and I can't fault their seafood salads (octopus etc...) A better selection of desserts would be a plus and ditch the icecream bar - has no place in this restaurant. :P

Delicious range of seafood. I loved the prawns and the asian salad! Some good choices for wine and friendly service. Really beautiful layout and a great place for dinner with friends/family.

Fresh tasting food, and lots of range, if you like seafood,of course. If not, there are a couple of dishes available: risotto, and a burger.
Very fast, and decent price range. In a beautifully designed building. There is a function room for larger bookings as well. Some of the staff could be a little nicer though!
Edit- Went back recently and had fantastic service from a young guy (who convinced us to add an extra entree and bottle of wine.. these sneaky hospitality staff!) and asian girl. Love this place!

I have never had a bad meal at this place. The service is quick, the meals are yummy and great value. Good for an eat before the movies. Very family friendly too.

Fast service with top quality meals! The Scallop Caesar salad is a personal favourite. If you're looking for somewhere for a fast meal at a reasonable price, check this place out.

Meals here are utterly delectable although a little on the small side and quite pricey. Being an upper market "fish cafe" this is to be expected but is still worth a visit from seafood aficionados for the food quality alone. One thing I did find disturbing was the over-zealous table attention from the wait staff who "hovered" and "paced" the whole time we were eating which was quite off-putting.

if your ever in hobart you have to try this place and the grilled blue eys and chips would have to be one of the most popular dishes on the menu , they have a great selection of wine on the menu as well so give them a try and the prices are not that bad either but the food is oh so yummy

This is my favourite place for celebration dinners, it's special, but not at all snobby. I usually get the grilled blue eye with chips and tartare sauce and whatever wine they have on special. Yum!

Approximate cost: $25
