Flight Centre

I recently booked an overseas trip through FC Chermside and overall they were pretty good. I felt towards the end (for the little niggly bookings eg small flights, transfers etc) that the service level dropped off, but all in all a good experience. It might pay to ask the consultant where they have travelled because local knowledge is the best knowledge!! The lady that I got had not travelled through Europe and therefore was really quite limited with offering more specific advice.

My partner and I attended without making an appointment, hoping to get some options for flights to america. We were welcomed by a very very friendly staff member, who was extremely nice to deal with. There were however 2 issues. Firstly, it took 1 hour. All we wanted were the cheapest flights from brisbane to USA on a given date 4 months in the future. Unhappy with the price we were quoted, we went home, and tried online ourselves, and within 15 minutes found flights for 600 dollars cheaper (per person) saving ourselves $1200. We are by no means flight gurus, or technology professionals, so thought it best to ask a travel agent. The service was really really friendly, but the outcome not so good.

Friendly staff. They have a lot of agents which means you don't have to wait long. They all seemed very nice and willing to help.
