Dealing with Floorworld (both its franchised store and head office) was an extremely unhappy experience in all the aspects. I paid them $7000 for installing the new laminate flooring provided by their supplier and installed by their Hopper Crossing store, but ended up with SERIOUS floor expansion issue and many other installation defects due to their poorly skilled team. WATCH OUT, all the paper warranty they promised to their customers could be just a BLANK cheque based on my terrible experience after wasting 1.5 years dealing with various of their staff with the hope that someone could be responsible to get those reported floor issues fixed within the warranty.

I naively thought their management team including their headquarters would have done something for me because the floor issues occurred only 2 months after initial installation back in mid 2021, and the floor product is still under 10-15 year warranty plus 18 months installation warranty; On the contrary, they eventually choose to run away from their responsiblity, Passing the buck and blaming other parties. Just because the previous store owner claimed to be bankrupt with his business, under the same branding of Hopper Crossing Floorworld even the same salesman, they are not willing to either fix the issues or financially compensate my loss because none of them really put their customers first. Their so-called warranty is a total blank cheque, if the store ownership changed under the same franchise, existing customers wont get protected. It happened to me so could happen to you!

Given the above of my true experience, it's strongly recommended to stay away from this company and every store under its franchise because the root company is poorly managed - Throughout the whole process, I didn't get the slightest sense that they cared about their reputation in the industry.

We were flooded in the 4 February Victorian floods and all of our Carpets were ruined. I obtained many quotes, but was most impressed by the friendly and professional service of FloorWorld in Narre Warren. Brian and Richard were very helpful and knowledgeable, and the carpet layers were hard working and efficient and did a fantastic job of our large house in just 2 days! We are delighted with the result!

I had a children's car mat that needed re edging. I was quoted the price and they told me how long it would take. And true to their word it was back on time and finished as I requested. I was given a few different options. The service was friendly and polite.
