French's Forest Veterinary Surgery

Great people and care but their basic consult is very expensive $82! (Mar 2015) and some items charged here are not charged elsewhere (i.e $34 for the vet to look at a 'scraping' through the microscope. The scraping should be included in the consult especially an $82 consult.) They really do seem to care about the animals in their care as the other reviews have suggested but If they care that much, why charge so much more? Great, caring vets are available in a number of other vets in this area in case you want your animal seen to but can't afford their prices. I'm only posting this because I don't want anyone to avoid taking their animal to the vets because of a single expensive vet experience.

Since moving to Petrie over 20 years ago we have taken all our pets to French's Forest Veterinary Surgery. Over all these years their service has never been anything but top class and their love of animals is so obvious. For any surgery involved they always ring the next day to see how your pet is getting on. We moved to North Lakes a few years back but still return to French's Forest - can't imagine going anywhere else.

The staff are all lovely and they always give my dogs a cuddle and pat when they are there. When they had to cancel my appointment once because of some emergencies not only did they apologize but they gave me free dog washes to say sorry. That is terrific customer service!

I have been taking my dog here since for about 9 months now (since he was very little). This is a wonderful vet surgery. The staff always fuss over my dog and remember his name, and make us feel very special. The care we receive is top notch, and I feel very secure entrusting these lovely people with my much beloved pet. Best vet I have ever attended without a doubt.

They were great, my dog is really a handfull , but they were really good with him and made us feel really comfortable, Even when he tried to hump all the other dogs in the waiting room.

We have been going to this vet for many years now and our pets have always received the very best of care, no matter what they are there for. The staff all know our dog when she comes in and make a fuss of her. They have a hydrobath service outside the surgery every Saturday morning as well.
