This review is for Plush, Aspley QLD

verified email - 11 Jun 2015

From the moment my husband and I walked into the Plush Aspley store we could see the quality of all of the furniture. We wanted to purchase a new modular lounge but were restricted with the size of the area of our loungeroom that it needed to fit into. Not a problem! The lovely Meryl was so incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. She was there to assist us but we were free to wander around the store and have a good look without feeling as if we were being pressured.
Once we had made our decision on the lounge that we wanted, Meryl sat with us to talk us through the whole process, we had a large range of colours to choose from and we were also given advice on how to look after our new leather lounge to make sure it lasted for a long time.
We were told that it would be 8 to 10 weeks until our lounge was ready and at the end of this time we received a call from the Plush head office to advise that the lounge was ready and we organised delivery. Delivery was a great experience. We received a call from the driver first up in the morning to advise of the time of the delivery, and the truck pulled up outside at the time we were told. The two delivery men, Emmett & Hassun, were excellent. They carefully brought our lounge in, assembled it all for us, put it into place...and then cleaned up all of the packaging and took it away for us.
We couldn't be happier with our new lounge and would not hesitate to recommend Plush to anyone who wants a quality product and excellent service.

This review is for A1 Furniture Clearance Centre, Kallangur QLD

I had been looking to purchase a chest of drawers for my bedroom and decided to visit A1 Furniture. It's very well laid out, the people who run it are very helpful and friendly and there are a lot of choices over all furniture types. The prices are very competitive with such places as A Mart and Fantastic Furniture and the products are high quality. We found our chest of drawers, paid up front on Thursday and it was delivered on Saturday morning. It was also appreciated that we received a phone call to let us know that the delivery truck was on its way. Would highly recommend and I will definitely return in future.

This review is for EZ PC Fix, North Lakes QLD

verified email - 11 Apr 2015

After checking the reviews on womo for EZ PC Fix I decided to give them a go. The fan on my laptop stopped working so I completed their online form detailing the problem and giving my contact details. The next morning I received a call from Steve who came around to my house and collected my laptop and gave me what I thought to be a very reasonable quote. The day after next I got a call from Steve telling me it was all fixed. It works perfectly and I was very happy with the friendly and efficient service I received.

This review is for Accurate Instrument Servicing Pty Ltd, Petrie QLD

verified email - 30 Jan 2015

My digital SLR camera is one of my most treasured possessions and when it stopped working properly I wanted to find a camera repairer that was local. Fortunately I found Accurate Instrument Servicing at Petrie and now I would never go anywhere else. It is located along Beeville Road at Petrie under the owner's home. When I took my camera in I was told exactly what was wrong with it, how much it would cost to fix and when it would be ready. I couldn't be more satisfied.

This review is for The Coffee Club, Mango Hill QLD

verified email - 04 Dec 2014

The new Coffee Club at Mango Hill only opened this week and it's just lovely. With a large, cool, covered outdoor dining area, lots of dining inside it's a great place to go for a meal. The staff are so friendly and the meals that my husband and I ordered were served quickly and were fresh and delicious. While my husband enjoyed cheesecake for dessert, I ordered a cappuccino - it was served hot and just perfect. I look forward to returning again.

This review is for TOLL IPEC, Melbourne VIC

verified email - 17 Oct 2014

We were sent goods through Toll Ipec - from Southport to North Lakes (a travel time of around 2 hours). This was back about two months and to this day we have never received the goods - a large box containing an electric bike. The goods were picked up and a tracking advice was posted on their website, but the goods were delivered to Melbourne in error and the tracking advice remained static in Melbourne. I rang every single day to find out what was happening only to receive the response that they were still looking for the goods. We lodged an email complaint through their website and after a couple of weeks we were basically told that the goods were lost and we would need to go back to the sender. Fortunately the sender was understanding and they supplied us with a new bike (through a different carrier - which reached us the following day) and were going to claim through their insurance for the lost bike. I would NEVER recommend Toll Ipec to anyone - not if you want your goods to be delivered.

This review is for Blue Infusion Cafe, North Lakes QLD

verified email - 15 Aug 2014

Although Blue Infusion Café has only been opened a few weeks, the word has obviously got around as when I went last week with four of my friends it was absolutely packed. There is seating available both inside and outside the café and the service is very efficient They make a great coffee, but they also make an absolutely delicious coconut hot chocolate! Meals are very well priced and tasty - I enjoyed their corn and zucchini fritters with a freshly made side salad. A place to catch up with friends.

This review is for The Olive Restaurant, North Lakes QLD

verified email - 15 Aug 2014

My husband and I visited The Olive Restaurant today with another couple for lunch. This was our first time at this newly opened restaurant, but it definitely won't be our last. Everything on the menu was tempting and we were told by our excellent waiter, James, that all of the breads, desserts etc were made fresh each day in-house. And you could really tell by the texture and amazing flavour of what we had. My choice of main was a steakburger with 12hour slow-roasted rib fillet - so tender it just melted in my mouth. Desserts were a triumph, especially the peanut butter icecream - unbelievably yum! We all agreed that we would definitely make it a regular experience, as the atmosphere, prices, service and magnificent cuisine was as good as any five star City restaurant.

This review is for ADJ Electrical, Clontarf QLD

verified email - 31 Jul 2014

My oven needed repairing and, thanks to previous reviews on WOMO, I called ADJ Electrical. What a find! Adrian first gave us a few ideas as to why our oven mightn't be working, but when these weren't part of the problem, he agreed to a service call the following morning. And, true to his word, he arrived when he said he would. We couldn't be more satisfied with the work that was done and when we received Adrian's invoice a few days later we were surprised at how reasonable the bill was. We would definitely call ADJ Electrical again and would not hesitate in giving anyone a positive recommendation.

This review is for surveyvillage, Epping NSW

verified email - 05 Jun 2014

I have been a member of surveyvillage for some time now and I highly recommend it for those people who love to do surveys. Surveys can be very rewarding as they give you the opportunity to have your opinions heard, and also to earn rewards. I have done some very interesting surveys through survey village and their reward program is excellent. I have only recently earned myself a $50 visa gift card but I had many other choices as well. After redeeming my reward online, I received my visa card in the mail only a few days later.
