The chef there is very skilled of cooking lobster dishes. Their beef brisket and tendon hot pot also an excellent dish. We always enjoyed our meals.

My husband and I have come here twice. We ordered vegan options with rice. Very affordable and a large place to dine. The waiter is polite and friendly. The second time we came here, the restaurant was actually only meant to do takeaway orders, but they made an exception for us, and even gave us some fortune cookies to go.

Always a favourite, but they are a little slow to make.
But when the food does get out, they will definitely get a star for authenticity and taste. Some of the more traditional dishes are available, but generally if you aren't in the know, then you'll miss it completely. But then again, many of the more traditional Asian dishes aren't to the taste of most other cultures. I mean who really wants to know you're eating tripe and pigs feet?

Good authentic Chinese food but a little slow on the service. The shop is really dark but I did see them changing some light bulbs so it's a little bit brighter now. Its a family run business with the parents in the kitchen and the kids running the floor. Hey at least they speak good English.
The food wasn't too oily and the veggies were cooked to perfection. I didn't think there was enough salt however there was salt on the table so I just added it in myself.
Tea was okay but I had a chip on the side of my cup so I just had to make sure I didn't drink on that side. Didn't ask them for a new one because they all seem preoccupied, busy and unenthusiastic.
However that being said, I will come back for the food. Just gotta do takeaway next time..
Hint hint wink wink.

Fu Lin is similar to a lot of other Chinese restaurants in that it has a large variety of dishes from which to select. Unfortunately, the last two times I've eaten there, the quality has been slightly less than expected, and the food didn't taste all that fresh. Service is quick, and quite good, and the value is also reasonable, but the quality was a bit on the low side (they may have just had a few bad days?).

Approximate cost: $11
