Had a horrible experience with this company, they kept cancelling delivery and after the 3rd time refused a refund unless I forfeited 25% I delt with a man called [redacted name] during this time and he had a very stiff [redacted word] attitude after going to consumer affairs i was assured it would be delivered several days later then on the day a completely different lady rang to tell me it could not be delivered.. She was at least professional and kind so after nearly 2 months since purchase I was given a full refund. I would never shop here or recommend again.
Bouht our bedroom suite from here biggest mistake we made within 6 months rails bowed out slats fell out mattress dropped run Dandenong store they said they no longer dealt with maker of this suite so anyways used it for firewood bought an Australian made bedroom site way better cheap imports that may look nice but are cheaply constructed and nasty
I bought a queen bed and mattress and put my order on 20th march, I asked sales person about the availability and he told me end of April but when he wrote down the order he mentioned to be in safe side lets make it mid May . I accept. Mid may passed and I called them the sales person told me about an unexpected delay and assure me I can receive it by mid june (to be fair he told he will deduct th e cost of delivery and I checked their catalogue at time and the bed I ordered was even less than what he gave me as discount for this delivery issue but I didnt complaint) . now I am calling them again the person who pick up tell me end of june, he doesnt even apologize and he is very rude. and when I ask how can I be sure about end of June he only tell me this is what he knows nothing more.
I wonder if there is any kind of law to protect customer from this kind of behaviors. I understand unexpected delivery but not more than 2 months and half from purchase time + this kind of behavior from sales person when they have my money and I am trapped.
Any suggestion?? I think we need to stop this kind of behavior with some action.
Very poor customer service and delivery.
After we were promised our couch delivery within 2 days we found out that it wouldn't be and were left hanging with no one taking any responsibility for it. Finally we were told it would be delivered weeks later and took the morning off.
A truck arrived but it was to pick up a coffee table?!
Really annoyed by now I tried to contact ANYONE to help me, but there is no customer service.
The only way to communicate is through a form on the web, and a year later I still haven't seen a reply.
When the couch arrived 4 weeks later it was the wrong colour and we were basically told there was nothing they were prepared to do about it.
Absolutely disgraceful and customer service is non existant.

I bought a table and chairs from here and got them delivered. They delivered the correct chairs but made a mistake with the table, I paid $400 for the set and the table they sent me alone is worth $800! It's beautiful and way out of my budget. I called them and was told that the table I got delivered was infact on my order form and if I am happy with it then I can keep it. Of coarse I was over the moon. Now I just need to get better chairs to match my lovely $800 table!

Great experience with this company bought a lot of furniture of them delivery was great and on time and service was friendly all round good company would recommend to family and friends.

Basically we were lied to numerous times and, after our lounge was fully replaced once and the second one was also faulty, they refused to refund more than 50% of the purchase price, even though the suite was only 9 months old. Consumer Affairs sorted it out for us, but I warn everyone to beware this incompetent, dishonest company.
A bunch of imbeciles that have been named in Parliament by the Victorian Minister for consumer affairs in 2005. Didn't find this out unfortunately before I purchased- a very bad experience. Consumers should save themselves a massive headache and steer clear of these people. Also found out they had an issue with the Federal Australian Consumer and Competition Commission in relation to the safety of some bunk beds they were selling- just google furniture galore on the internet and all of this can be verified.

brought a futon frame and mattress for $99 the lot here, and decided to replace my bed's mattress at the same time...also for great value. salesman I had was very knowledgeable of the products in the store, and understanding of my needs. Delivery was arranged too...and was delivered at the time they said they would.
Furniture Galore would have to be the worst furniture store in the world. Sold us a bed on false pretences and was of the most inferior quality. They have been named in Parliament by the Minister for Consumer Affairs as a crook operation. It can't get worst than this!
