Many of their specials tend to be cheap items brought in specifically for the sales, and the premium items are at RRP - if these do come on special they can become quite cheap though. Staff leave you completely alone unless asked to assist - then they are friendly and helpful.
The girls who run this pharmacy are great - friendly, caring, gentle with sick people and generous and honest with advice. Sometimes the wait is long - one assistant, one pharmacist, but they don't rush anyone out so it's worth the wait.
A welcoming staff, knowledge of their products and good discount if you are buying more than one item. They are honest and honor their guarantee (we had one item replaced). Their specials tend to be good ones.
Wanting to buy two iPods I waited for nearly 7 minutes for service at the counter - one staff member was attending to a detailed enquiry from another customer, and the other was looking busy. I finally was served, but the lad behind the counter couldn't get me what I needed (no key) so there ended up being a 2 minute discussion on who should go out back and get them. I was about to tell them not to worry when they decided two people should go - one to unlock the room and the other to bring the iPods back to the store. Pathetic.

A traditional deli combined with a cafe that serves delicious foods. I find the deli staff knowledgeable and pleasant, but some of the items are pricey. They're always fresh. Great range of goods.
Looking for a leather lounge suite, we were most impressed by the salesman's knowledge. Don't pay the advertised price though - we bought a suite for $1700 less than the ticketed price, with free delivery thrown in.

A very old space, dingy and often cold. Some of the books are as old as the library, I think. But it's a free service and there is online reservation and renewal of books, so it's not too bad.
The library is always clean, comfortable (warm in winter, cool in summer - a great place to do private work) well organised and usually pretty quiet. The staff are helpful and friendly. There is internet service (although I've not used it). You can reserve books online and they'll email to let you know when they're in.
A good supermarket with a wide range of goods. When they have a special, it's usually a good one. If you shop after school the number of teenagers unpacking boxes in the aisle can be annoying, but at least the shelves are stocked!
They sell what you expect, not particularly cheap but not bad either. I don't like their specials policy though, where often you must buy two or even three of a product to get the special price.
