Visited Galaxy Restaurant with a Groupon coupon on 17th September 2015. Disgusted with the meal! Ordered the seafood platter....looked ok when it arrived, but on further inspection it consisted of 25% chips, 25% rice, 25% fruit ...and the rest was an excuse for seafood! All floating in some kind of white garlic sauce, including the chips. From memory there were 4 prawns, some baby octopus, 2 pieces of fish half a lobster a scallop 2 thin pieces of smoked salmon 2 mussels and some calamari! Do NOT go to this place...even the small amount of seafood that was included was tasteless and probably frozen! Ok if you just want rice and soggy chips!

Went Sunday night..... we organized a set menu of Chowder Soup, Garlic prawns, and a Crab Platter for two.
I swear we were taped for a tv show like Candid Camera.
First of all we were jockeyed to a 2 seater table.... NOT set up... blank table cloth. Literally tossed us a menu and then we became 'invisible'... I had to get up and go to the bar where there was a few men and a woman who might have owned the restaurant and asked if they had forgot we were there, NO silverware, NO serviette, No wine glasses... after 20 minutes it became a 'joke'. Finally the waitress comes to our table and takes the order... this is where the real fun started.
Next thing one of the manger looking guys delivered the crab platter right in the middle of the table. That's ok except we hadn't yet received the clam chowder soup OR the entree!!!
We told them there was no reason to bring the platter out now as we would like the courses IN ORDER! We sat the, with this crap platter still sitting in the middle of the empty table (still no cutlery has been set) for a good 5 minutes and I got up again and went to the bar and told them to get that platter off the table and bring us the soup! About 5 minutes later they deliver the entree of garlic prawns... where's the bloody clam chowder? Half way through the entree.... here came the chowder. Unbelievable!
So much for the "comedy of errors" this "restaurant" includes in the price... no extra cost!
Now the food (once we got it).....
Clam Chowder : I couldn't eat it (and I love clam chowder!)... I tried covering it in pepper and it was still uneatable. My partner wasn't impress either.
Garlic Prawns: Great entree if you like rice. A mountain of it in the middle of the plate and a searchlight to locate the 3 prawns that had a garlicky taste.
Crab Platter: I don't know how many crabs were on the platter as they covered them with some tomato 'sauce' concoction, A bit of a joke as the only way to attack a NORMAL Crab is to use your fingers.... this was the messiest platter I have ever had with very little success in sourcing out the crab meat.
All in all.... if they offered this 'fantastic fare' for $2 I would rather a Big Mac.
In fact, I was hungry when I got home!

Delicious, exceptional, food high quality ingredients and presentation, great service there reef and beef is amazing for under $30, i have been keeping an eye out they sometimes have groupons. well worth a visit.

My husband and I bought a Scoopon voucher $45 for three course meal for 2 people. What a bargain!
The whole meal was fantastic!
There were a couple of menu items excluded from the deal, but that is understandable as they are far more expensive.
Otherwise we could choose anything from the menu.
We started with a delicious garlic bread (extra cost ), followed by:
Entree- Antipasto platter for 2- loaded with the freshest and tastiest Dolmades, smoked salmon, olives,fetta, dips and more.
Main- Reef & Beef and a Galaxy mixed grill
Dessert- sticky date pudding and mud cake.
Every mouthful was outstanding! Highly recommend this restaurant. The service was also great - very friendly and attentive staff. We will be back!

My friends and I bought a scoopon voucher. We chose the 3 course meal (entrée, main and dessert). The half a dozen oyster for entrée was average fresh. The main, reef and surf, had a selection of seafood - one mussel, one scallop, one calamari grilled bug and prawn, served with garlic cream sauce with rice and chips. The garlic sauce was very nice, all the seafood were cooked nicely, the calamari was soft and tender, not chewy. I would've preferred more vegetables and less carbs (rice and chips is a lot of carbs!), but the chips were nicely fried as well.

The baklava dessert was disappointing, it was cold and hard and half of the ice cream had melted by the time it was served. The mud cake was better.

While we were there there was a few tables celebrating birthdays, when the cake was brought out all the staff gather to sing happy birthday very enthusiastically - a very commendable effort!!!

I checked the menu prices --- everything was very reasonably priced, considering that they actually cook the seafood properly (not serve it fried or just cold boiled seafood). Worth coming back for lunch/dinner!

We used a voucher which included an entree to share, dips and turkish bread and then 1 main each (reef and beef or reef and surf) with lobster.
The entree was delicious, however because there was 2 of us I do think that there should have been 4 pieces of tukish bread and not only 3, however it was not worth complaining about.

When the main meals came out, it didnt look like there was much on the plate, but once you got started there was plenty on the plate, I couldnt even get through it. The lobster was sooo good and the other seafood on the plate was NOT deep fired :) which makes me happy.

These meals were amazing and the service was very very quick. We would recommend this to anyone. We will definitely be back!!!
