Would never recommend. Back in 2016 my husband had been verbally (never again!) quoted $3000-4000 to replace gas pipes. When they completed the work the bill came to $8162. Had several other plumbers look at the itemised bill. They agreed- this company is grossly overpriced and immoral in their conduct. Managed to talk them down substantially, but the final figure was still overpriced.

I wouldn't recommend these guys they sounded nice over the phone but forgot to mention that there was going to be a call out fee of $240 for what? For them to come look and then quote 2100 so now we are 240 put of pocket for nothing and they say if you wish to go ahead we will take that 240 off the final price hmmmm... I should've looked into them more before going ahead my fault there but dayam now what? FML

They are overpriced and unprofessional. Stay away from them. Do not try to use them. We are just not happy. Don't question them about the invoice because they are entitled to charge what they want. if you ask them, they might threaten and bully you. Called plumber had water link. Yarra water advised me to ring for plumber that did link detention, Mark responded that they provided such a service. I found out later that they don’t provide such a service. I engaged them to do work ( to stop link & run new pipe line). The work process was slow and ran into over time). I was then presented two bills. First one for new line & manual link detention, were they dug up front yard.
Worker stil here and now still charging me $120 per hour for each worker!

Approximate cost: $3600

RIP OFF and misleading. But. They offered to come out and quote on a replacement hot water system. They were more than 800 dollars more and then when I declined the charged me 120 dollar call out fee. They never informed me of the call out fee. The owner of the business was rude and laughed and said I would enjoy taking you to VCAT. Because I dispute d the call out fee. BEWARE they are bullies and intimidating and rip off.

GD Master Plumbing were engaged for a quote to unblock a storm water drain. They get a half star because they graciously moved the appointment time forward by an hour or so! From that point on disaster...was verbally quoted $695 per hour to investigate the blockage, they worked for 2 hours so would have expected to pay $1,390 but no, was invoiced for $2,750 and I still have a blocked drain! They would not send an invoice for payment, their rep insisted on credit card or direct debit before they would leave. Sought reimbursement for what I consider as over payment from the management however can't write what he actually said to me (censored) let's just say no was the response. This company, in my opinion, has unreasonable charges and uses unfair tactics to get payment. The only genuine guy was Graham who had the camera and jet equipment - but I think he is a sub contractor not an employee. I can understand why others have the same complaints, I just wish I had checked out online reviews before even calling them! Avoid this company if you can. This is my first ever review comment about any trade I have ever used before.

I called these guys to clear my drain. The last time this needed doing it cost me $400. These jokers charged me $4000 for the same job. I didn't ask for a quote, they claim they quoted me, I dispute that vigerously. I took them to VCAT, but lost my case because I had signed their damn invoice. The last thing the adjudicator said was that he thought there invoice was outrageous. Will always ask for written quotes from now on.

It is now 2 weeks after my first review and our gas hot water heater has died, to help put the above review into perspective, a new gas heater and 5 hours installation work has cost me $1000 less than G D Master Plumbing charged me for 2.5 hours work to clean my drain.

Expensive and Useless!! Called these guys to turn on my Hot Water System. Came and hardly tried anything and said the whole system needs to be replaced and quoted $1800 and charged me $264 callout. I got it turned with another licensed plumber for just $150.
