My husband, friends and I popped into Gingers on our way home after a day out. While the menu looked fabulous, we were all in the mood for a burger, we were not disappointed, they were fabulous, the staff were friendly, a little slow with our order but is was extremely busy, so therefore understandable. We will be returning.

Gingers' Breakfast was nothing to write home about the two times I tried it with friends - A little overpriced and dull. But their dinner is so phenomenal that I can't justify giving them below 4 stars. We shared a burger, some bruschetta and some sort of rice ball things, i think. It was a little while ago, but I haven't forgotten how amazingly delicious it was. The atmosphere was great, and the space is really welcoming and cute. I would recommend going to dinner at Gingers any time.

Popped into there for a weekday evening meal and was very impressed, they have extended into the shop next door now, so there is plenty of room, I grabbed a burger and fries which was fantastic, we loved the atmosphere they as they had a few local musicians playing, of which my 2 year old daughter loved!

What a quirky little coffee place! Loved it. Had an awesome chickpea burger for lunch which was really yummy. Not too long to wait for our meals and our coffees were good too. Popular little place; could be difficult to get a park, but well worth it.

Approximate cost: $15

Having only got coffee here, I have to say was very nice, I would like to go back again and try the brunch menu, as it looked nice, now the shop has extended there is more space, as can be quite a busy hang out

ginger's has expanded. they have a full breakfast menu, specials, great coffee and a huge new cafe next door to the tiny railway-cottage sized original.

I liked the food alright; the eggs are done right, the coffee is, as I said, great, the bread is delicious, and the service is decent.

but for the prices, there would have to be something extra special about this decent little cafe.

at the moment, it's just... a little self conscious and without a standout feature.

if you're interested in something new, this place is not bad for a visit, and it might find its' niche in a little while.

Approximate cost: $55 for breakfast for two people

Ps, I told my housemate of this review and he asked me if I was being a little generous, given that there had been a spider in the cress garnish on my breakfast, which crawled onto some of the food so that I hadn't eaten it. When I told the waiter, he seemed alarmed but didn't offer to replace the food I had put aside or anything. Not a very graceful response, but I'd eaten enough that I wasn't too bothered.
