I picked up some of their BBQ Chicken, chips and greek salad on my way home after a day out with friends to share with my family. It was only after reading a review a few days ago that I decided to try them. The chicken wasn't dry, it was cooked perfectly. It was great in a bread roll with nice thick gravy and chips on the side. I found the service was a little slow (it was quite busy) but the food certainly was worth the wait. Friendly staff and will definitely return when out that way again.

Stressful day with the children ended up with me ducking up to O'Halloran Hill to grab something for dinner. I decided to head into Golden Chicken. I was glad I did as their barbecue chicken was devine. It was still lovely and hot when I got home and it was moist and succulent. The meat melted in my mouth. The potato salad and coleslaw that I purchased were lovely and the leftovers kept well for the next day.

My husband took me here for dinner the other night. he has wanted to take me for awhile. Love there chicken. such great taste. also loved the seasoning for the chips.definitely recommend this place.

This chicken shop has been operating for years, try their food and you will know why. The barbeque chickens are cooked beautifully, and are full of flavour. The Hand cut chunky chips are delicious, you cant beat them.Tom and his staff are all very friendly and helpful when trying to decide what to have. The shop is very clean and presented nicely.Salads are made fresh daily, and taste amazing. they are extremely busy over Fri- Sun, as they are so popular. Whether you are feeding a large family or just want something small, they will have something you will enjoy.

A well run chicken shop that has been there for a long time. The service is quick, the chicken's delicious and lovely fresh salads. The shop looks very clean and professional. They also sell chips, and burgers etc.

Chicken and chips are very good. The service is very fast, the queue is setup like at an airport checkin, single file only. The prices are a bit above average but the quality of the food makes up for that.

The Golden Chicken takeaway business makes the best chips. Their schnitzel packs are delicious and they make the best chicken gravy I have ever tasted. The service is so fast you never have to wait long despite the queues.
