I enjoyed watching the chef here cook. He interacted with the people and made it fun and entertaining. The food is so fresh and tasty. It is a must try place.

I am not a big fan of Teppanyaki Restaurants, but they can be fun when the chef puts on a show. Not so keen when they throw the food at you (especially after a few sakis).

Anyway, they put on a nice show and didn't throw too much stuff at as (you are meant to catch it). The food is great and you know it is fresh because they are cooking it in front of you.

We went to this restaurant recently. All the staff were exceptional. Their interaction with their clients was fantastic. Even the next day my 13 year old Granddaughter was raving about what a great night out it was.

I love teppanyaki and when I saw that this had opened nearby to me I had to try it. I managed to score a voucher to make it even cheaper. Teppanyaki is always a great social experience as well as a meal and Golden Wood do well with a number of large BBQs to sit around. Although it is not as good or high class as some of the more expensive teppanyaki joints I was still very impressed with the skills of the chef and the food provided. If you want a cheaper teppanyaki without having to go to the Gold Coast or the city this is definitely the one for you as the chefs still have good skills and the food is fresh and tasty.
