I found this company to be very helpful & much better than other conveyancing services I had used in the past. I used them for both the property I was selling & buying. He gave free advice & checked the contract for the property we were purchasing for free.

Look at the 1 star reviews on here, there is a recurring pattern. I expect a negative rebuttle from Gordon rather than any genuine concern for addressing our experience. Disrespectful and utterly ignorant staff! Saying it was a turbulent settlement process would be a compliment! All parties were keen to expedite settlement and Gordon failed to respond to emails for several weeks. Gordon provided no communication, and it was only once I stepped into the store I was aware settlement date had not been amended as requested. They continued to deny receiving any written communication despite proof from all other parties. Do your research on a good conveyancor - 1 star reviews say a lot

Will not recommend. This is not a fixed price. After you sign up exclusions exist you have to pay for or do the work yourself. Our documents had no sale price. So they hand wrote them in so seller and buyer had to initial the change to the contract. They don't follow written instructions causing delays and frustration. My case worker there avoids contact by not taking phone calls.
I would have gone elsewhere when I discovered the extra fees but time was not on my side. My complaints were dismissed. Gordon conveyancing are not professional

Would not recommend.
Slow to respond to emails and you're lucky if you get a return phone call.
Cheap but service and professionalism is really lacking.
Also takes your money but doesn't do the job you pay for until the last minute.

I dealt with Gordon Conveyancing (GC) from "the other side of the fence". I was the purchaser of a property and GC were acting for the vendor.

Throughout the sale process, GC's staff had poor communication and provided misleading information regarding documents that would be supplied and when they would be produced. As time passed and GC were pressed about outstanding documents, they were not proactive in settling issues and sometimes did not even respond to emails.

At settlement, GC's representative was extremely rude and unprofessional. When he first arrived, he did not even greet me or my conveyancer. He just had this air of indifference and acted as if he was above everyone. He stood at the counter and didn't even move for my conveyancer to stand next to him. I had to nudge him to get his attention to move and he tried to tell me that I could have just asked. It's pretty hard to get his attention when he refused to look at anyone!

All dealings with GC have lead me to believe that they treat their business with too casual an attitude and do not treat matters with the required level of seriousness.
