I was going to a high-end salon for a number of years and quite often I would have different hairdressers cutting and colouring my hair. It was very impersonal and at times my cuts and colours were mediocre. I decided it was time for a change and booked Kate from Gorjes You. From the start. I was very impressed with her understanding of what I wanted to achieve from my hair. She explained the science of hair (which I have never been told about before) and the best way to move forward. I had a beautiful new cut and even a semi-permanent colour which she mixed using her special pigments and this took away the dull coloured blonde I had. Many hairdressers truly don't know what they are doing, they push their clients through like cattle and are very pushy in buying their product. Trust me, I have been to the "so called" best and Kate makes their services appear very poor indeed. For a refreshing new approach to hairdressing by a very educated and talented lady, please do not consider any other salon before you try Kate. You will be pleasantly surprised! Kate spent two hours cutting my hair - there was no time limit and I had a lovely tea and biscuits along with a great chat. Kate is personable and very passionate about her business and her clients. She definitely puts her clients first and I can honestly say I have never experienced anything quite like this before. So please take my word for it - you will never regret it!

Kate’s professionalism and devotion to her work is outstanding! The way she treats her clients makes it clear that she takes pride of her work and also enjoying it. She listens to you, provides professional advice and creates and amazing outcome. I find atmosphere in the salon itself is very welcoming, friendly, positive, vibrant and refreshing. The services that are provided there range from simple haircuts to quite complex and exclusive hair styles and procedures which most of the other places do not offer at all. I also appreciate Kate’s personality and flexibility. I have been a client of Kate from the beginning and she also does hair styles for my children. In addition to that she also runs education sessions/ master classes not only for professional hairdressers but also for anyone else who wants to learn some new things what can be easily done on daily basis at home.

Since I go to Gorjes You, I only need to quickly dry my hair the head upside down in the morning after a shower with a hair-dryer, and they take a perfect shape and look completely natural - all in 3 minutes time.
I was also pleased Kate easily accepted to "downsize" as I usually only need a haircut and don't need styling - except the day I had a job interview. On this day I had my hair done by her, felt good about myself - and had the job!
