Gosford Furniture removals turned up on time at Holsworthy (~8:30), the boys worked tirelessly in a 2 story duplex to pack everything up - we had already boxed everything, but they brought wardrobe boxes and blankets with them anyway - and were on their way to Gosford by 12 ish. Unpacked everything by 4 in the afternoon. No breakages, no damage to walls or furniture, so overall could not be happier. I spent a lot of time looking at removalist reviews before settling on GFRS and would definitely use again.

Great customer service from Cathy when booking my move, the quoting process eliminated any surprise costs, packing tips were very helpful but it was the actual team that impressed me...nothing was too hard for them!

I have used Gosford Removals twice and would highly recommend them. They moved my 85yr old mother and even removed old furniture from the house and put it out for council collection, we were very grateful for that. in both moves nothing was broken or damaged.

We recently moved from the Central Coast to the Tweed Shire (8 hrs away) and used both the packing and moving services. The team were fantastic in getting our house packed up quickly, it was a dream not having to pack up our house and we were basically able to live in it like usual right up until the day before we moved! They then held onto our furniture until we needed it a few days later. They took great care loading & unloading everything for us! Overall a fantastic service and we would highly recommend them!

We’ve just completed our second move with Gosford Removals and Storage. The entire process went perfectly from the initial quote through to pickup and delivery at our new home. Having had a couple of bad experiences in the past with other move companies, I always feel uncomfortable booking a removalist and hope it will be a smooth process without hiccups. Both moves with these guys have been 100% stress free. Gary also went above and beyond and helped move some heavy items which were unrelated to the move. 5/5 stars for service, professionalism, organization and care for our furniture etc. Thanks guys, see you for our next move.

A disappointing interaction. Most of my furniture was to go into storage and the rest to my new home. Even though everything was labelled a number of boxes ended up on the wrong truck. Including the eskies with all my food. That ended up going into storage. I didn’t get them back till the next afternoon and I had to throw half the food out. Then they wanted to charge me an additional $650.00 to bring my furniture to Lake Macquarie. I had already paid for this in the original quote. When I said I wasn’t interested in paying this the deal went sour. The excuses started coming out.
The driveway was too steep. We can’t get the truck down there which was rubbish. I’d had much larger trucks down my driveway.
I won’t be doing business with them again.

I was very impressed with Gary and Simon who transported my belonging to Sydney at the end of June. They were friendly, co-operative and very professional during the pack up and removal.

I would highly recommend if you need to move to use these guys. From the quote till the last item is unloaded. So professional and get the job done right at a very reasonable cost. The team were absolutely fantastic, nothing was a bother (even when I changed my mind about where something should go more than once) they don’t muck around and get the job done and are highly respectful of your property and belongings. A great team from start to finish. From the moment Darren came to do the quote the service was excellent and inspired confidence. On time for the quote, on time for the move day and great support from the office. The men did a great job. It was a hot humid day and the men kept working hard all through the morning and afternoon despite the conditions. Gosford/Karis Removals packed and moved us from our home of 32 years, on 18 hectares at Ourimbah (huge!), to an apartment in Canberra with no garden. Two deliveries required
-- one to the apartment, another to a storage unit.
From providing the quote through every detail of packing, moving and unloading, all the people involved have made this enormous upheaval happen, with their professionalism, efficiency, knowledge and plain hard work. All the while, reassuring us!
I realise it is their job, but to us it's a life-changing experience -- one we've been delaying, it seemed so daunting. The fact is that everyone at this company goes way beyond the call of duty, making it happen with much less upset than we anticipated!
The "girls" who did the packing, with Wes and Will, are forever going to be known as the Hoover team, for the way they vacuumed through what I thought was a massive task!
The team of men who got our lives into the trucks like a jigsaw puzzle were a wonder to behold. Sticky notes have a whole new meaning ! The admin people (the puppetmasters!) kept us in the loop, providing everything we needed to know before we knew we needed the information!

Gosford removals moved us from Hamlyn Terrace on Tuesday 30 March 2021. Everyone from Darren the rep to the removals men on the day (especially the lead man) to Cathy in the office have been excellent. We were so happy we chose Gosford Removals and especially the service of the men on the day of the move, they dont have an easy job but they were great.

Exceptional service and speed. We moved from a 3rd story, no elevator apartment, to a house with steep access, and not only did the boys get it done in just 5 hours, they were happy, friendly and joking the whole time. They made what would have otherwise been a nightmare into an pretty pleasant experience. If I need to move again, I'll be coming back here.
