I ordered two bridesmaid dresses in Oct/Nov last year 2016 for my wedding in Feb 2017. All of a sudden their Chermside store closed down and relocated without even notifying me. I found out through their website instead and they still haven't announced where they've relocated to! I sent them an email about my pending orders as advised on their website but it's been a week and I haven't heard anything. I'm so frantic and worried if I got scammed or if I don't receive my dresses on time! They said even though I ordered my dresses a little late, they'll still arrive before Feb. Is anyone else having the same problems with their pending orders?? Please help!

I was very unhappy with the service I received from gowns of elegance. Planning a wedding myself was hard enough without them ordering me the wrong dress size. That wasn't even the worst of it. Then after they ordered me the incorrect size there wasn't enough time to get a different dress and was handled very poorly. I was made to feel like it was my fault when they made the mistake. When my bridesmaid dresses came in they said they'd call me straight away they called a week later. I traveled 2.5 hours and they said the dresses hadn't arrived only tell me a week later after emailing their office to say " we've had them since last Thursday "
I was only in a dress that fit me a week before my wedding and was told alterations would take 3 days not 3 weeks and three trips to Brisbane and never got an apology or them to check whether my dress was ok even though they assured me they would make sure to follow up. I was so upset and stressed the whole time they were hard to reach wouldn't answer the phone and had no voice message service as well as I would emailed and be told we need to check with the shop or we are only in the office Tuesdays.
When I paid half the amount of the dress straight up they said email us we will always respond and it's the best point of contact. Whenever they called back after I emailed they would be nasty to me as I had emailed head office and their boss wasn't happy so they called me and made me feel again like I was in the wrong. If you are a future bride save yourself the stress and go somewhere else, there were tears and loss of sleep, Wish I never ever went through gowns of elegance

A big cheer to all the lovely ladies in the store. Faith was on our side when we drove past and found you whilst we where heading to visit our family in Brisbane from Ballina. Ladies you have made not only my daughter Maree happy but you have gifted us with your talented workman ship. Her gown was to die for. Thank you for everything and I know we have been difficult at the best of times, but nothing was too hard for you. We are going to miss all the hugs and welcomes we got when we walked in, but I will be there soon with our niece to find her dream dress. Huge Hugs Sara Johnston

The flowergirls dresses where so cute and everyone at our wedding could not stop commenting on how beautiful we all looked.Thank you and look forward to meeting with Elizabeth again when it's my sisters turn to get her dress by you. The best store is have so far been too. And my mother and I would know. We have travelled to Sydney, and most of Brisbane Bridal Store and the service was so bad we left without trying on. We visited this amazing store after a lovely lady told us about it at Jojos in the city mall. The customer service and product was amazing. The helpful hints and nothing was too hard for them. I am so excited with my gown and my bridesmaids dresses. Thank you ladies.
