This morning I had an appointment at 11:15. When I arrived, I was informed the Dr was behind scheduled and that there were three other patients waiting a head of me.

After 35 minutes of waiting, it was time for me to get to another appointment and I advised the administrative staff that I had to leave and cancel the appointment.

Now I understand that the unexpected can occur and I honestly wasn’t going to bother to write review but after leaving the clinic and reflecting on my experience I decided I wanted to leave some feedback.

When I advised the receptionist I had to leave, her response was “He is almost ready for you” I politely told her “I had to go”. She responded with a shoulder shrug and I left.

Now I get that it is not personally her fault but I got no apology for the delay, nor an explanation. As you’re the face of the clinic I would have appreciated a, “We are sorry for the delay”, “We apologise for the inconvenience” or “Would you like to reschedule?” But I got nothing… But. A. Shoulder. Shrug. Clearly they’re doing so well for themselves that they don’t need new clients.

Now, I am not sure if it is this clinics policy but other clinics I’ve attended have got a no show fee. If I were to rock up late or no show, I would have received a bill for my non attendance. You value your time, I value mine.

In summary… Receptionists need to work on their customer service skills and the Doctors need to work on their time management.

Reception staff were very helpful and friendly, and they bulk bill so a definite plus. Filled in the usual new patient form in reception only to have the very gruff doctor ask exactly the same questions, when I pointed it out my comment was met with a sigh and silence. Then it was well here is your certificate and off I went. Don't know that I will ever go back, shame because reception give a great first impression, maybe so customer service training would help.

This clinic have friendly doctors and staff. They only work business hours which is hard to get in if you work full time. Not much parking available. On the plus side they bulk bill.
