The food at Asian Grain in Bxhill is alright. But ensure you go to the one at new Centro Box Hill as it's cheaper. Even the chicken rice has more side cucumbers and stuffs compared to the old one at food court. Price is reasonable, portion is huge. They even have side yum-cha if you are single person looking to have some egg tarts, yam puffs..etc

Approximate cost: $8.00-10.00

Place for speedy, no fuss, hearty chinese noodles. Love the beef brisket and wonton noodles, tastes just like the ones sold in Hong Kong. The beef briskets are slow cooked to perfection, so tender.

Authentic Chinese cuisine in vibrant atmosphere. It all tastes as you expect, absolutely delicious. I'm a fan and come here all the time.

Food looks and tastes authentic, whilst prices are average. It can be quite packed and noisy in here, which is probably why the staff don't stick around long after you've placed your order. Nevertheless 'tis a decent place and tea is free!

Want fast Chinese noodles or fried rice on the run? Come here for a quick meal but don't great expect service - you come here because the food is authentic and a good quality. (What did you expect for around $12??) My favourite is the Yeung Tao Foo which allows you to pick your favourite items (dim sim, prawn, fish balls etc) to go with your noodles (thick yellow, white rice sticks, or vermicelli) and soup (Chicken, curry etc). Across from Grain Asian is a little take away space they have which sells a few yum cha items that you can add to your meal as an entree. Pricing is average. Tea is complimentary - you just need to help yourself!

Customer service does not exist in this place. Staff will lead you to a table, take your order, give you the food and that is about it. Have to grab your own tea and extra cutlery if needed.

The place itself is very packed and noisy, not the ideal place to socialize.

Food is decent but pricey, especially considering the fact that customer service is non-existent
