Very unique Richmond establishment. This place has a different feel to other nearby pubs without the 'bogan' or 'preppy' qualities of those directly to its north and south respectively!

There's something special about the dark laid back feel to this Richmond institution. One of the few remaining real pubs in Richmond. Great locals, great staff, great atmosphere.

when me and my friends go to the city we come here, the drinks are pricey, so is the food but we still have a good time just limits us from going there more often then we would like cos of the cost

This is just a typical aussie pub. Full of a bunch of blokes about to head to the footy, music pumping, and cheap pots. Clean, not too cluttered, and friendly enough staff when all youwant is a beer. Give it a go.

i love this place. great atmosphere, people and drink selection. they have little creatures on tap! cant complain. trivia night is always fun. outdoor area in the summer time is amazing. i agree, one of the best pubs in the free world.

love this pub. Love it in the summer and love sitting in front of the fire in the winter. It is such a warm real pub. I still remember the first time I went and Astro boy was playing need I say more.

Classic!

Great pub and a Richmond institution. Great for a night out when you're feeling a bit depressed and grungy and want to let it all hang out. The beer on tap is called Piss and the light equivalent is Piss Weak. Only in Melbourne! Trivia is fabulous (and messy) if you get a chance to go.

The gb is a great place to start the night off, as well as coming back to mellow out before the nights end...always loved this place..should get there more often..
