Losing my beloved wife at 64 was the worst time of my life. I am so grateful I found Carly and Tim who provided our family with kindness, compassion, love and a very professional service. I have never been compelled to write a review but I felt I needed to share my family’s experience, as I too had read reviews when choosing a funeral director when our mother died. We chose Greenhaven and are very happy that we had. Tim was genuine and relaxed, putting us at ease while guiding us through the process, without once trying to sell us any extras. He explained everything thoroughly and kept in touch from the initial phone call to the end of the process. We are eternally grateful for their efforts.

In recently going through the process of selecting a funeral home, we were drawn to Greenhaven after being able to easily identify on their website their links with venues in the Melbourne area where we could hold a unique funeral service. We had an immediately positive experience with them over the phone and this continued over the course of our contact. All of their staff were friendly and warm at every point of the process of losing a loved one & planning for a funeral, providing reassurance through what was a very difficult time. This was demonstrated through small touches that helped us to feel that our loved one was being well cared for even after death. Both Tim and Carly were approachable and responsive to questions we had and provided a personalised approach. The experience we had with Greenhaven helped the family through the death of our dearly loved and respected father and grandfather. As a family we were unprepared for the next steps after his passing, however a referral to Carly at Greenhaven and subsequent contact with Amy made the whole process so much easier to cope with. Just wanted to extend our warmest regards and thanks for your teams exceptional service in guiding us, caring for and farewelling our brother.
Tim contacted me promptly to clarify my initial inquiry, Carly followed up to ensure it had been received and understood and then reacted promptly once engaged to ensure our time frame could be met.
Carly's team on the day greeted us warmly, respectfully guided our family and friends through the awkwardness of a 'socially distanced' funeral and assisted with a professional, dignified service.
Pricing was certainly competitive, and our wishes for a 'cost-effective' service was understood from the onset and in no way compromised the level of service we received. Even the budget coffin was surprisingly distinguished and finely finished. Mum remarked "it looks like a nice granite/stone'
