Groom always treat you like royalty! After you've had a massage or your nails done you feel so relaxed and like you're floating on a cloud of happy!

Really disappointed with Groom at Southland. I was looking forward to a little pampering and I left feeling ripped off and let down. I arrived on time and waited a good 10minutes before I was taken back for my facial, after undressing and getting on the table I waited another 5 or so minutes before the therapist came back in. In all I think my 45min facial lasted at most 25mins. At the end they also tried to fob off some products, which I normally buy, but as these were $120 and $100 each...I said no thanks and it seemed the service dropped even more.

My pedicure was mediocre at best, again I was looking forward to my rough skin being scrubbed away and my feet being soft, alas they feel the same as they did before. My nails were not cut, even after I mentioned I'd prefer them shorter and worst of all within 24hrs the nail polish has chipped! I've had longer lasting polish from my 4 year old niece.

The therapist seemed like I was wasting her time and kept of looking around the salon while she was doing my nails.

I've sent an email to them as I'm so disappointed in the service, we'll see what happens.

I went to Groom for the first time in March 2011 for an eyebrow wax. I didn't have an appointment, but they were very kind to squeeze me in even though they were busy. The therapist who waxed my eyebrows did a good job. The wax wasn't too hot and she didn't over-wax. She was also very friendly and chatty, she made the experience very comfortable. The only negative would be the price; $22 for a clean-up is a little pricey compared to a lot of local salons. I may consider going back based on the good service, but the prices could be a little more competitive.
