The waiters are all really nice and the atmosphere here is amazing. Really nice spot for decent coffee (my friend did not enjoy his cappuccino very much but I can definitely recommend a mocha).

Gumption [redacted due to personal identifier] let us wait half an hour and when we got to the front of the line at 3:44pm she told us she shut the coffee machine and there was a line of 40 people behind. She didn't care all the people lined up. Just wanted to close and go home at 4pm. This is during Christmas shopping on a Sunday! Gumption is undoubtedly one of the best places to drink coffee in the Sydney CBD. Blink and you could miss this small coffee shop in the Strand Arcade, but you probably wouldn't miss the large crowds on people devouring on coffee in the seating area in the arcade or waiting inside the cafe. They also sell coffee beans too which is great, but I prefer getting my coffee made for me. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

This is a tiny little café in the middle of the Strand Arcade in Sydney which I came across recently. From what I could see, they only serve coffee and you can choose to stand at the counter to drink-in or takeaway. I had a skim cappuccino takeaway and it was hot and strong - the way it's meant to be. It is always a very busy cafe whenever I walk past but I'm glad I stopped and tried it. Will definitely be back.
