FANTASTIC hot chocolate for $6.80 large!!! On a cold winter's day we wandered in there and were not disappointed. It is situated at the bottom of Bathurst Street, cross the road into Darling Harbour and turn right.. It is near the theatre. Well worth the visit.

Approximate cost: $6.80

well, cake is yum, price is also high.....location is good, environment is nice for friends have a relax afternoon tea, staffs are friendly, although a little pushy. But, the food there definitely overcharged.

I went here with friends and had a very mixed experience. I shared the 100% pure pleasure with a friend and was ecstatic with my choice. It was a bit pricey but what you expect for that sort of dessert at a chocolate cafe. A friend, however, ordered the fruit with chocolate dip for $16 and got a small pot of chocolate, 3 strawberries, pineapple, kiwi fruit and a few slices of banana. The size for the price was horrendous and the kiwi fruit and pineapple did not mix with the chocolate at all! So overall, I would recommend it for a decadent treat- but stick to their specialty cakes or hot drinks.

Approximate cost: $16

I ate at this cafe several times while I was in Sydney recently. Although you would expect the menu to be entirely chocolate-based (well, it is ...), there are some other rather delicious savoury items on the menu also. My favourites were the salads - Smoked salmon/avocado salad and the Vege/Hummus salad - both beautifully fresh, well presented and delicious.

Approximate cost: $20

Yum, a must go for any true choc-o-holic. The desserts are absolutely delicious and made with obvious skill. I would recommend splitting with a friend as they are decadent enough that you don't really need the whole thing for yourself at those prices. I have tried the 100% pure pleasure and the strawberry bombe, both excellent choices would have both again with a great big smile. Take-away prices are more reasonable too if you want to walk down and have dessert by the harbour. My friend had the waffles and they were nice but I had a nibble and not so significantly different to most waffles that I would recommend this over some of the more unique desserts.

Approximate cost: $8-16

I decided to try the macaroons here (after a disappointing trip to Zumbo's shop only to find it has closed for the day) and was not disappointed. The salted caramel macaroon was a decent size and tasted beautiful. There's a good selection of other flavours too.

Approximate cost: $3 per macaroon

thx for sharing your experience. However I am not sure if you're allowed to mention any other business entities on your reviews. I'd check up on that.

Love the set up of the cafe. The desserts were very nice looking and very yummy, although I would only go here for special occasions as the prices are a bit high for what you get, but the experience overall was ok.

Guylian has one of the best chocolate sweets and drinks in sydney . This place is awesome , you can sit outside/inside (with heaters outside) and lovely atmosphere/staff. However I think the prices are still overrated , like seriously i payed 9$ for a super tiny banana - choc shake , regardless of the taste (taste was great)

This is the third Guylian Cafe in Sydney and it is just as amazing as the other two. This cafe is quite large and has a nice open feel to it. There is also outdoor seating too. The quality here is exceptional and the hot chocolates are to die for. A must visit!
