Is it just me or are people quick to complain about things but forget to give praise for work well done. Every major electrical product in my house is from Harvey Norman Aspley and no exaggeration whatsoever everything has been and is perfect. They just did all the tech work to pull all the information from the old tower computer into my new Hewlett Packard one, with a new (fitted by them non-factory) 1 terabyte solid state drive fitted. I now have all my old programs and data transferred to the new and it is brilliant and fast, the guys in there explained in detail how they did it and I'm just grateful to them, they are gentlemen and completely professional, and I've always found them to be that way. As a Christian man I'm very grateful to the Lord for sending me there and I'm very grateful to the guys there for getting me out of trouble with the non-functional old computer.

Where to even begin.
I was accepting of the delay and lack of communication around getting the bed delivered. But when we pay $2000+ for a bed I expect it to arrive in good working order. Apparently my expectations are too high - the drawer jammed - I called Harvey Norman the day of delivery and they sent someone out to take a look promptly.
Fast forward 4 months the whole bed gets replaced the drawer is fixed but the bedhead is now wonky - it’s not square and it’s the first think my eye was drawn to.
So now we are trying to get the bedhead replaced and requested some sort of compensation for the time we have spent waiting and following up to get the bed we paid for.
The proprietor Ravi basically said he doesn’t want to deal with this any more - wrap the whole bed up and we will
Give you a refund.
That doesn’t help me a 5 month pregnant person who will be with no bed in the meantime.
I don’t think it is too much to ask or expect a little empathy - this was our big treat a new bed and it has become a disaster.

A six month transaction, with no end date in sight. They were happy to take our money and not keep us in the loop of an Australian made product, after several calls and email’s to the store following up no one took any ownership of our order from the start through to when we received our new bed.

When we finally received our bed after months of waiting, we find the product faulty. Again, after several attempts with the store we had someone come out to inspect the bed and confirm it’s faulty and that it should of been picked up at the warehouse before shipping to us. Three months later, we are still waiting for our replacement bed part with no confirmed timeline when we would receive and after speaking with a manager seeking partial compensation we were told “I’m sorry you have had a [word redacted] experience with us, but there is no grounds here to warrant a refund”.

Good luck for the future Harvey Norman, you’ll need it.

Outstanding customer service from Andrew Slater (computers & phones) and Jessica Webb (small electrical goods). In late 2019 we needed to purchase across multiple departments, which are owned by different franchisees. Jessica coordinated between multiple departments to provide prices, delivery and ongoing support. Andrew's knowledge and attention to our needs was and remain excellent. We drive across Brisbane passing two other Harvey Norman stores to shop at Aspley.

I have spent thousands of $ in this store including an expensive set of headphones which began to deteriorate within the warranty period however when i enquired re the coverage and staff checked the purchase date i found i was just(days) out of warranty, but was told not to worry they contact me when resolved. I received no contact and after a period of time went back to the store. Another staff member then contacted the distributor and i was told they would not cover the replacement parts. I was then told that due to my past patronage the matter would be taken to management , i assumed for a result based on goodwill and that they would be back in touch. Once again i received no contact. We are talking about a set of ear pads here, $60 to$70 worth, i am disgusted, its not the cost, its the principle!! i will never shop there again and will yet anybody know why

I bought a laptop from them, they couldn't be more helpful. But after the purchase and things went wrong they washed their hands of responsibity and I had to go through the manufacturer, and pay postage costs. If they are a agent for a company they should also be a pick uo and drop off for repairs,

Went looking at purchasing a new television in recent weeks so I went here. Their prices are more expensive than the Everton Park store and the not prepared to reduce their prices as much as other stores.

They were very helpful with our purchases. Great service and answered all the questions we had. Went into a lot of detail which was greatly appreciated.
