The kids and I often go to the Hawthorne Garage for a coffee and baby chinos. The cute gingerbread with the coffee is a nice touch. The gourmet food they have is also delicious. I had a vegetable salad for lunch this week and it was very yummy! The fruit and vegetables are very good quality.

What a great addition to Hawthorne, it adds to the vibe of the area and provides a great meeting place to catch up up or just sit, have a coffee and people watch. As a dog walker they provide clean fresh water and various points to attach your lead, so you have your dog secure while you pop inside. I live within walking distance and frequent here for coffee and the community feeling is great and quite often there are lots of nice surprise treats in store if you are looking for that something different. The fresh fruit and veges are first class. Plenty of parking makes this a very enticing place to go. Well done Dan and Andy your foresight has paid off.

This place is very unique, thriving business with lots of character. They serve great coffee and food which you can eat there. They are also a green grocer and have a range of products that you wouldn't by anywhere else. Their products are expensive, but if you can afford to live in the Bulimba /Hawthorne area, you can afford to spend money here! Coffee prices are good value however and it's not just good coffee, its gooooooooooood cawfee!!

Approximate cost: $5

Love this place! We've popped in to the Hawthorne Garage a number of times now and love pouring over the fabulous range of gourmet goodies and produce. It's a great place to pick up hard to find gourmet grocery items, as well as treat yourself to delicious deli treats and fresh bread. We were recommended here by a friend who told us about the fresh fruit loaf. It is to die for- bursting with so many figs and apricots, and is a delicious compliment to a take away coffee from the front of the store. Yum!

Love this place, great food, fab decor and fantastic coffee. This reminds me of James st markets, but the prices are slightly lower. Lots of great deli stuff etc.

I look forward to sitting outside and having something to eat/drink as it looks very relaxing. Great deli items as well as fruit/veg etc. The prices are more expensive than a general fruit/veg shop but they have such a great selection of gourmet deli products which is why I go - great to see a new fresh store in the area

Great new neighbourhood deli/fruit/veg/coffee - lots of lovely fresh stuff and gourmet goodies on the shelf. Dont go expecting a menu, but make your own! Nice tables out front to have coffee and whatever you've selected for your own picnic. That end of the road needed something, its a nice relaxed place. Little expensive on some of the prices though, however expected I guess, its not a supermarket.
