This is my regular after-work drinks haunt; friendly staff, good prices, fun atmosphere.
The launch time deal (burger and a drink) for $15 is really good although the place has become a lot more popular in the last year so you will need a booking if you expect to get a seat at lunch on a Friday

Approximate cost: $20

Cozy little bar, hidden in the laneway of Highlander. The ambience was relaxed, quiet and nice when we arrived as it was still quite early. Staff was friendly. Although we have booked our table in advance, there was no specific table reserved for us. The table that we were seated were quite dirty; full of dust and crumbs. We ordered a "Fat Bastard" and a Highlander burger. Both meals came with shoe-string fries. The portion of meals was quite good. It was quite reasonably priced. The burgers were to our liking; we loved the brioche burgers and the sauce. The beef patties in the "fat bastard" was a little bit bland. However, the Highlander burger was yummy as it was seasoned well with some spice in it. Oh! And not forgetting the shoe-string fries...it was delicious; seasoning was just perfect; not too overly salty and it was crispy. The only downside of the experience is that we waited for more than 35mins for just the 2 burgers. They also have some lunch deal of some burgers and beer for $15 which is a great deal!!
