Love this place it is seriously my go to venue for reasonably priced food that's good quality. Anytime there has been an issue the owner is quick to follow up and rectify it and the staff are generally pleasant and friendly. Am a very regular customer and would recommend this place to others. They also are very tolerant of dietary requirements which is a bonus.

Their food is amazing and their service is fantastic. I can't wait to go back again. The only thing I found to be displeasing was the amount of space between the tables. It was very crowded. But otherwise great.

Seriously yummy food, i love the chilli con corne quesadillas they are super scrumptious! I love that they have alcohol free cocktails as i am pregnant these are very yummy too!
Recommend this place to anyone. Their weekday lunch specials are a real winner at only $9.90!

I have dined here many times with my wife & children and found the staff to be very courteous and will go out of their way to make your dining experience the best it can be. The staff make it a very friendly experience for the children also by offering pencils & coloring in pages to occupy them while there meals are prepared, Highly recommended!!!!!

What a wonderful atmosphere! The whole night was great, our meals were quick and delicious. We started with curly fries and garlic bread, lots of carbs but we were on a night out. The steak was beautiful, the white sauce i got with it wasnt that great but i just ate my meal with a dip we had with fries. I will definitely eat there again and again.

The staff are great and the food is delicious! The price gets me, its so expensive. My older brother swears by the 18 hours slow cooked steaks and every child in the family goes crazy for the curly fries.
The burgers are great and not too tough or soft.
I'll go again - when I can afford it!

Experience was fantastic, ballarat hogs breath is wonderful, there is parking at the back of the building not just out the front of them. there food is sensational. i would recommend to anyone to go there, the staff are friendly and really look after you. Hog's Breath cafe is one of my favorite places to eat. The menu is very diverse and overall, the service is pretty good. The meals are cooked to perfection and never have i had a poor experience.

Being a chain of restaurants you'd expect a level of consistency, however the Ballarat HB appears to be an under-performer. We've dined at several HB around the country and general the quality and service is good.

Where the Ballarat HB lacks is in the quality of the meat and veges. Our lunch size steaks were very heavily marbled with fat and quite dry - not what you expect from HB and their unique slow cook method. The veges appear to be microwaved with that 'crisp' taste to them. This has been the case for our past 2 visits so it's not a coincidence. Both times we've been there near opening time (11:30am) so it can't be attributed to the rush hour.

Parking can be a little difficult as it's on the Bakery Hill roundabout with limited parking out the front and across the street - McDonalds and Nandos are in competition here.

Unfortunately due to the consistently low quality steaks we won't be going back nor will we be recommending it.

quality steak tasty food , thought it is a bit expensive for a family but , you get quality service and quality food , excellent service good for special occasions good treat
