Had a very positive experience with Colin. Car was great and just want I wanted. Everything was as per what Colin said on the phone when I enquired. I had one minor issue that was not known to myself or Colin at the time I purchased the car. Once I found the issue later Colin arranged to pay and fix the issue first time no hassles. A great experience.

I purchased a car from here. I almost walked away from purchase because of awful attitude of [Redacted personal identifier]. I wanted a mechanical check before purchasing. He was rude to my mechanic. My mechanic was always very thorough. Looked after me by even working late into the night (after 10pm) just so I could have car to drive to work. [Redacted personal identifier] whinging about how much time my mechanic would take. Wanted me to take a day off work during the week to get it checked.

When I picked it up the parking lights on front were not working.
It was cheap as rego was about to expire but since I was on a single parent pension at the time it wasn't an issue. So good value getting $2k discount but poor service.

I purchased my hyundai i30 from Colin and his father Herbie a couple of months ago, I am very pleased with the service they provided to me. After visiting another dealership who were the standard stereotypical slimy salesmen, I didnt feel comfortable purchasing their car and walked out. I then visited 1 last dealership for the day which was Hornsby Family Cars, I was expecting yet another slimy salesman trying to charm me to purchase their car. However, upon arrival Colin and Herbie were extremely genuine with their sales explaining in detail the pros and cons for each car - they were very humble actually with their sales and when it came to deciding to purchase the car they left that option solely to me, no influencing, no slimy salesman pitch to get me to hand reel in the catch, they provided honest genuine feedback on cars and left me to my own accord to choose whether to purchase or not.

I ended up purchasing the car from them and to date there are NO issues whatsoever with the car, the quality of their fleet is great! However, on my behalf I didn't know how to fix the passengers seat to sit correctly - the seatbelt was stuck under the seat. A week after purchasing, I contacted Colin who advised to head over to the him at his dealership and he would happily have a look at, which he did. Colin fixed my issue which was my fault.

Extremely happy with this business, and I can confidently recommend any of my networks to check this place out to purchase a car without feeling pressured.

Absolute shonks, I DO NOT trust them. My daughter bought her first car from here, all good. They promised a capped service price which they did not stick to until my husband gave them a call. She kept up to date with all services and takes good care of her car. Her last service was 1 month ago. Today we have taken it back as the brakes sound as though it is metal on metal. When asked how this could be as checking brake pads should be part of every service, [Retracted name] reply was "she never asked for the brakes to be checked". Sorry but she is not a mechanic and checking the brake pads are part of the service which is what we are paying for! The brakes now need machining and the cost will be over $500. It resulted in a rather heated argument with [Retracted] who was extremely rude, was calling me names, said my daughter was a liar and stupid, Not to mention how dangerous this situation could have been for my daughter, driving with no brake pads could have resulted in an accident! I do not recommend anyone go anywhere near this place! This is an obvious case of taking advantage of a young girl who knows very little about cars!

We have bought 4 cars from this dealer and have found them to be very polite and helpful. Herbie was great. They have also serviced our cars. Yes a lot of the cars are ex hire cars but we have had no issues and would thoroughly recommend them.
